I have been planning our trip in detail today and have booked fastpasses, however I'm not sure that I've done it right, the main profile persons fastpases show up but when you go to another family or friend person it says no fastpasses are booked, I've tried copying it over, is this just because the individual person hasn't booked any or do I need to do some other linking or something?

Also how does it work with fastpassing fireworks? wishes is unavailable for fast pass so does that mean we wont see the fireworks or just we wont be close?

many thanks

When you were booking your FPs did you select all the people you wanted to book for? If so, they are probably there but it is glitchy at times. If they are still not showing up, it might be worth a call to the tech people.

As far as the fireworks are concerned, the FP+ for them usually only show up a few weeks before. You would still get to see them without a FP, the FP+ just gets you access to a reserved (and less crowded probably) area. Personally, I wouldn't book the FP+ for the fireworks unless you don't want FP+ for the rest of the day as you cannot book additional FP+ until you have used your third, if your third is for just before the park will close (i.e. the fireworks) then you will be limited to having 3 all day. The exception to that is if you were just going to go into the park to see the fireworks (i.e. planned to go to a water park, stay by the pool, shop or have a rest day and just go in the evening to see the fireworks, we like to do this) in which case you would actually be better trying to get a FP+ for the Main Street Electrical Parade as you would be able to remain in the same reserved area after the parade and would be in a prime viewing spot for Wishes.

where is the FP+ viewing area for the Electrical Parade? I know where the Fireworks area is, is it near to that location?:goodvibes

People were waiting in the FPP area for the parade an hour before it started last week, rather defeating the objective of it been a FPP option IMHO. We watched from Main Street Station where you also have to wait it out an hour in advance to get a chair/table in front of the railings but is a far superior view IMO as seeing those floats from above is amazing. Well worth the wait.

Thanks so much for replies, they are showing up now, must just have been a glitch, great advice about fireworks too, I'm going to pick a night and go back in to do that... Exciting!!

So I've booked fast passes for one night for the parade but there are no fast passes left for the fireworks, but I can just stay where I am and watch from there?

You might want to move back slightly as you may not have the best view of the fireworks as you will be directly in front of the castle but you won't need to move very far at all. You may even be able to see perfectly well from where you are.

we were in that area for the fireworks last august - just behind the FP+ parade area.

it was THE best view of the fireworks we've ever had.
and what was truly amazing - everybody sat for the fireworks and stayed sitting the whole time. I think we were just lucky that everybody stayed on the ground - it was the most perfect view of the fireworks.

When it was over, DD and i fell into each others arms crying.
Sounds corny, i'm sure, but that's how perfect that view was.

and the only reason we went into that area to view wishes was to get DSIL a seat on one of the little walls.
There was only a seat facing away from the fireworks, but that's where he sat (he broke his back a few years back, so he can't stand for long and he can't sit on the ground - so he didn't care about not being able to see, he just needed to sit, while we watched a few feet away from him).
