Won't let me add my confirmation number I booked yesterday do I need to wait few days before I add it?
 
This has happened to a few people recently. Call Customer Support and explain your problem. They should redirect you to someone who can fix it :)
 
I just called and all they said was I should be able to login just fine I explained the error message and not much help from them. I would just like to actually see my reservation.
 
Have you tried doing it through the actual website and not through the app?
 

Ugh, I'm so sorry. That's really annoying. Personally, I would call again later and hope to speak with someone who is more helpful.

You can also report the problem to the App Store. If enough people complain, they should release an update that will (hopefully) fix the problem.

No not yet but i will try that. She told me as soon as you make a reservation you should be able to check it on app. Guess not.

The MDE AP is full of glitches. Check it out on your computer instead. Starting on the disney website instead of the AP. Tech cast members have given me this same advice.

Have you tried logging out of the app, completely closing it and then openi it and logging in again and trying to add your reservation?

I had an issue like that with the app on my phone (iPhone) not recognizing my reservation and once I logged out as mentioned above, it picked my reservation up when I logged back in.

I just logged out and haven't gone back in yet I figured I would give it sometime before I logged in. I have an iPhone as well and the App Store says the app was last updated 2/24 so I'm not sure what's wrong. Maybe I should delete app completely and re download it.
 
I had trouble on the website today as it wouldn't allow me log in.. I just waited a few minutes and the glitch was gone. I did get worried though.

Still no luck and very upset about it not working! So much for a magical day! :(
 
Did you book through the Disney site? I can't tell from your posts. If so, did you get a confirmation email?

I had that situation back in November when I booked my package through the Disney website - got my confirmation email, but it would not show up on the app or MDE, and when I went to try and input the confirmation number into the app it told me that the number was assigned to another guest. I called, and initially was told that things were fine and it would just take a couple of days. When it still wasn't showing up, I called back and got connected with the right people in tech who were able to do whatever needed to be done to fix it. While we were on the phone she did whatever and had me sign out and back in again to make sure that it was all connected.

If it wasn't booked through the Disney site, I don't know other than you need to be connected with someone in IT to work on connecting them.
 
A friend of mine is a travel agent so she booked for me. She gave me a confirmation number and said I would shortly receive an email it just takes a while. Still no email and checked spam folder. I read from others it takes a while to recieve one. I booked this past Thursday so thought by now would have received something being that my deposit was taken out of my account from wdw. Being worried I called and was assured I did in fact have a reservation but my confirmation number was incorrect by one letter. I put the new confirmation number into the app after closing it from my iPhone and completely logging out then back in and it still says reservation not found. I called again and was told that I shouldn't have any problems it should work. I read and did what many of you said by trying the actual website not the app and again received an error message saying email and password not recognized but it's in fact my same email and password from the app. Every call so far has been unsuccessful I just want to actually see reservation on app or site so I have that as well.
 
Have you explained the situation to your friend? Does she also have trouble logging onto the MDE website? Maybe she could call Tech Support on your behalf. As your travel agent, it's her job to be your advocate.

I would also focus on trying to access the website since the app doesn't appear to be working right now. Is this the error message you get when trying to log in?

"Sorry, the Email or Username and/or Password do not match our records, so please try again. If you feel this message is in error, please call (407) 939-4357. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call."​

If you're sure that the email and password are correct, then this is a problem on Disney's end. You can try to reset your password if you want, but I don't know if that would help.

Unfortunately, if you continue to have problems, you'll have to call Tech Support again. If they continue to be less than helpful, politely insist that you need to speak with a Manager.

Again, I'm really sorry this is happening to you. It's definitely a less than magical way to start your vacation :(
 
I was going to wait until Monday to explain it to her. That's the exact message I saw when going to the wdw site. I also changed my password that same day. I'm going to give it a few days as I now see that my deposit is pending so that could be another reason as to why it's not working. I'm going to try again and see what happens.
