My Disney Experience App.....ride wait times????

Just wondering if the ride wait times on the App are accurate. My husband downloaded the App and now I am getting a daily report of ride wait times lol It's actually really cute, but wondering if they are accurate. I hope they are because then we can use it to park hop.

They're pretty accurate in that they reflect the posted times at the parks. I like to cross reference the Lines app since they post the posted, predicted, and some actual wait times. Disney often inflates the wait times so Lines can be more realistic.

They are the officially posted times at the entrance to the ride queue. Now, the reliability of those times is sometimes debated, though they are generally close. Mostly at park open and near closing time is when they vary wildly from the true wait time.

They are as accurate as the ride lines themselves are.. some can be wildly off and sometimes that's on purpose like popular rides near lunch and late at night.

Was there early October and ap was almost always exact time listed as what posted at entrance of ride.

I like the Lines app, it has the posted time and sometimes the actual time - I have contributed a few myself!
