Beyond the frustration of the event and that has been well covered on this board I want to share with you my disgust with how staff is handling it the DAY AFTER.
Nothing on the home page and I really thought that they would say something, you know blame it on atmpspheric conditions or the Lock Ness Monster, something.
I saw VMK Red in the morning and I asked her what happened yesterday. Her answer is "I don't know, I was not working". Are you kidding me? They don't talk? They let staff start a day working without letting them on the the little debacle that happened the day before. There was bound to be questions from people wanting their prizes at the very least.
Then I saw another VMK and I want to say it was Flamingo but I don't remember. I asked if people were going to get their prizes. She said I should write to VMK via the contact link. I replied that I did and I didn't get a response and we all call it the black hole. I can't remember the words I used since we can't say hole. Then I went on that when we do that we either never hear from VMK or we get an automated response. She did not reply back.
Later I noticed VMK Zev had a room and the description said no talk about generator event. I guess he was tired of hearing about it.
In my opinion VMK is really making it worse by not adressing the problem. This is really shoddy service and I expect more from Disney.
