I think I may have my days a little mixed up, but the basic restaurants are correct. At any rate, our day at Animal Kingdom was a good one; except for our food experience. We lucked out with having fast passes given to us--the third time on this trip!:thumbsup2 We discovered that since Tusker House is no longer counter service, good cs restaurants are seriously lacking in this park. We definitely did not want Pizzafari nor McDonald's so ended up at Yak & Yeti counter service. Between the 4 of us I believe we had the Honey Chicken, Kung Pao beef and dd had a salad. I wasn't impressed with any of it. The rice was mushy and there was just not enough variety of flavors. After awhile it just got kind of sickening. Hard to explain, but we all just thought it was OK and only ate as much of it as we did because we were starving. Dessert was frozen lemonade that tasted artificial. Not what we were expecting. I probably would not go back here again.

Overall Grade: C-

Il Mulino--This is the dinner we had been most looking forward to this whole trip. I had read lots of good reviews about it and was very excited to try it. The service was excellent for sure. Our waiter was friendly albeit professional and we ended up having a nice conversation with him later in the dinner. We ordered beef carpaccio to share for an appetizer and it must've been good because I only got about 1/2 forkful of it before it was gone. They also served a complimentary small antipasto platter which was nice. DD ordered veal saltimbocca which I thought was the best meal of the night. The rest of us ordered pasta: me--a special for the night with some kind of veal ragout sauce which was quite good but nothing extraordinary. DS ordered bucatini (a thick spaghetti) with pancetta and onions with a marinara sauce. This dish was extremely salty and I don't think it was just from the pancetta. The chef obviously did not taste this dish because it should not have been served like this. DH ordered linguine with clams which was very flavorful but for the price ($26) should have had more fresh clams. They treated us to a very, very good flourless cake (for our anniversary) but I was disappointed we did not get a taste of lemoncello, which supposedly they are known for. The meal overall was good--just not great. And for the prices, I feel, should have been better. I left wishing we had chosen California Grill instead.

Overall Grade: B

Edited to add: Our dinner for the 4 of us was over $200 which included 1 cocktail, 2 beers and a glass of wine. Considering 3 of us had pasta dishes, I found that to be a little steep.
