Chef Mickey's - dinner
The atmosphere was amazing. My dd (3) smacked me in the face with a green napkin 2x :rotfl2: Meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, C&D with in our first hours of being in FL was such a great kick off.
The food - not so good... I couldnt have some of the dishes because of a shrimp allergy but my DH devoured an entire plate of shrimp. I went for the beef which was rare but it didn't have much flavor. My DD did eat all her mac n cheese though. I had some pasta which was just ok. If it werent for the characters I dont think I will ever return there

California Grill
One of the best views of the fireworks standing out on their balcony! We were seated on the opposite side of the restaurant (couldnt see the castle at all), heck we had the back of our booth facing the window so we didn't have a view of anything BUT it was dark so it could have been worse. I had the California Roll sushi, it was good, nothing special if you've had CR's before. We also got the bread cheese and something else on it (can't remember the name it was a week ago) and that was VERY tastey. I had Pork Tenderloin over mashed potatos (could have been over goat cheese something or other but I dont like GC) Very good. My DH and MIL had fish and both were raving about how good it was! I had a chocolate lava thingy for desert. O.M.G. Very Very Very good!! We did go outside for the fireworks and came back to our dinner.

Princess Lunch
Despite what a lot of people have said about this place I actually thought it was good. We all had the cold buffet. Some interesting items on there if you arent ready for them but good, my DH was raving about the beets :) My mom and MIL had the meatloaf and were both impressed how good it was. The Princesses came out and met my little princess and signed her book. Again, she could not have eaten anything because she was so excited but she did.

Le Cellier
After waiting 1/2 hour for our table (7:20 ADR) we were seated I had a berrytini which was good. I also ordered the cheese soup... I was not impressed. It was just ok. I guess I set my expectations a bit too high. I had the filet with BBQ sauce on it and O.M.G. I was one of the tasteyiest things I've had in a LONG time. I was passing pieces of it around the table. Everyone was jealous of my choice. My mom had the prime rib which was also delicous and my MIL had chicken (I didnt try hers ;) ) My DH had a strip steak which was in no way on the same level as my steak (yes, I know you cant compare strip steaks and fliets) but it was bland and chewey. Being the nice DW I gave him 1/2 my fliet :) We were done with 15 minutes to spare before Illuminations :thumbsup2

CRT - breakfast
We had 8:30 ADR's for Cindy's. My daughter LOVED the castle. LOVED meeting Cinderella. Highlight of our trip, both in matching dresses  The breakfast itself was good. The french toast was my favorite. I had seconds of that. The rest was just a typical breakfast. We did like meeting the Princesses (AGAIN :p ) It was nice to get pics with Snow White although I could have used a little more Princess for the $$ - KWIM

Ohana - Dinner
Our final Disney dinner was at Ohana. The Wonton and dips were ok, the chicken wings were almost ok, my DH, MIL and DD loved the shrimp. The veggies tasted like wood (very mesquite!!) but the potatos were AMAZING. My DH said all the meat tasted the same. I thought it was all good but he was right, it did all taste the same. The desert was very good. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did even my DS (1) was eating it!! As for the entertainment the fireworks were always great to see. The singing guy didnt come to our table until we were getting up to leave. It would have been nice for some interaction but it was the end of our trip and now we are home :guilty:

Hope you enjoyed my review :sunny:

Were you on the dining plan? If so then I think I'll be getting the filet too. What about you dessert? What did you get?

Thanks for sharing your reviews, I enjoyed them. I agree with you about Chef Mickey's dinner. The atmosphere is great, but the food is "eh". Breakfast is much better. :tink:

Thanks so much!! Sounds like you had some great meals :)

Sounds fantastic ~ Thanx for sharing.

I never got a desert at Le Cellier. After my drink, soup and steak I couldn't move. Next time I will get the Creme brule

It's almost lunchtime as I'm reading this, and you have me drooling. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review, especially for Chef Mickey's. We're also going there for dinner our first night and it sounds like it will be a great way to start off our stay.
