yes it is a lot of money, thank god for the MYW w/ Dining option. I felt like trying to cram everything into 5 days was too much, so we decided to stay for 11 and see everything at a leisurely pace since a 10 day ticket doesn't cost much more than a 4 day ticket.

I notice that you have more than 11 TS meals scheduled. Do you plan to pay out of pocket for some meals, since the DP only includes 1 TS and 1 CS per day?

yes, i will have to pay for some of the meals. I was hoping to share or pay for kids meals to reduce costs.

The only real question mark I have is whether Big River Grille and Brewing Works is worth going to. I have reservations at all of the other TS choices, but couldn't make a reservation at Big River for some reason.

I think the more days at Disney the better! I'm sure you will enjoy every minute of it. :cool1:

We had dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe 12/05. We had a blast! The food was wonderful and our server "Lazy Susan" was hilarious! :rotfl2: If your looking for all the antics this restaurant is known for you should definantly ask for her to be your server. You will not be dissapointed! She was awesome!
:wizard: Have a magical trip. :wizard:

imo.......avoid sci-fi at all costs.........

ITA. That place was terrible and we actually gave it a second chance! I'd go with 50s Prime Time Cafe. Much better IMO.

Looks so much fun!!

One quick question: I noticed Shutters was on your list, and that you were staying at Pop. I've never been to Shutters, but I've read so-so reviews for it. We're thinking about staying at the CBR, and I was wondering if you've eaten at Shutters previously & enjoyed it.

I adore planning our meals at Disney! :goodvibes

I have not eaten at Shutters. The only restaurant I have eaten at before was Crystal Palace. Maybe I should reconsider on Shutters.

I stayed at CBR and ate at Shutters and was not impressed. They might have had a bad day so other days it might be good. The Prime rib was good but the bisque soup was nasty, the potatoes were nearly cold by the time they got to the table, and it was a lot slower than you would expect. Others aroudn us seemed to enjoy their meals. We didn't send anything back b/c we were headed to MVMCP and didn't want to take any more time than we already had (more than 90 minutes). I don't remember what the dessert was but I remember it was good! :teeth:

I would not make a special trip to Shutters. We didn't care for it at all and wouldn't even eat there if we were staying at CBR.

Where is Cheesecake Factory Express?
Sorry - don't mean to 'jack the thread.

Cheesecake Factory Express is located in Disney Quest.

Boy, you have lots of TS meals on here! But if I were you, I would add 'OHANA for dinner. It was our FAVORITE meal at WDW, next to Le Cellier!!!

SEVENTEEN TABLE SERVICE MEALS in an ELEVEN day stay is a LOT of food and a LOT of time, not only eating but running to a restaurant for an ADR... i would definitely pare that list down... alot! LOL!

i suggest making a chart of the restaurants you've got, the characters that appear at them, what's important to you and where you will be... and start cutting from there...

i know the various resorts offer some nice restaurants, but imo they're just that "nice" not spectacular or something to write home about (although we had one of our best meals at boatwrights, but we were staying at POFQ)... and they take A LOT of time to get to and from... if it were me i'd make the following changes:

Chef Mickey's Buffet
Crystal Palace
pick one of the two above, the food is nearly identical...

Boma -- SKIP
Disney's Spirit of Aloha -- switch to HDDR
Sci Fi Dine-In Theatre -- skip (we found it to be below average food, horrible service, uncomfortable booths, and definitely not worth the $)
Marrakesh Restaurant -- keep
Whispering Canyon Cafe -- keep
Big River Grille and Brewing Works -- skip
Planet Hollywood -- skip (you can go to a chain restaurant anywhere, any time)
Cape May Cafe New England Clam Bake Dinner -- skip unless you are a seafood lover
Shutters -- skip

Breakfastosaurus -- keep, but make the latest ADR as we found you get the best character interaction *and* it makes a great "brunch"
Cinderella's Royal Table -- keep, but not sure it is worth two TS credits
Whispering Canyon Café -- skip
1900 Park Fare -- keep if you skip CRT, otherwise, skip Cape May Breakfast Buffet

just my $.02 on the subject...
