My DH is occasionally funny....

We were at Sam Moon last weekend and I was shopping for handbags. If you've never been to Sam Moon or don't know what it is, it is a HUGE accessory store and they have TONS of handbags for very cheap (and decent quality). The handbag displays are such that they is a bin for each style of handbag that they have and then they pile/stack a bunch in the bin. But is kind of like the orange/apple display at the grocery store. You pull the right one out and they all come tumbling. We were at one of the bins and I pulled a bag out and some of them start tumbling down and DH says "It's a bagalanche!" which made me giggle.

Then I was telling him about how folks on the Disboards would call me a "bag hag" because I have such a collection of handbags. He said that it's more like I'm a "purstitute" which made me giggle too.

Every now and then, he comes up with good ones.

I stopped going to Sam Moon once they moved to the new location....too expensive and upscale to me. I still shop at the scary places near Harry Hines that have no street frontage. I buy a lot of costume jewlery at those places (esp. one called Sam Mi) and get tons of complements, but I can't ever convince anyone else to go there.

Last year when the sequin purses were big with teen girls, I took my DD over to Harry Hines to get one. She asked me the name of the store. I said, "I don't think it has a name. The sign just says 'PURSES'." She didn't believe me till we got there.

And just in case you didn't already know, the #1 reason given by women as to why they chose to marry their DH: He makes me laugh!
