My DH called me a lush

I only enjoy a glass or two of wine a week.

How much do you drink? And do you think yourself a lush?

I haven't had any wine since Sunday, but it's not rare for me to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner almost every night.

if we have a bottle of wine in the house, I may have 2-3 glasses over the course of the week until it is finished--I'm the only one that drinks wine. But, then we might go 2 weeks, 2 months, or even longer before we have it in the house again. DH may have a kahlua and cream once a week (or longer).

No, I dont consider me a lush and either does DH. But he will tease me and call me a lush when he pours me a glass of wine.

It depends on how bad a week I am having. There are days that I come home and have a glass of wine while making dinner and then a drink later on in the evening. There are nights that I have nothing, there are nights that I have more. Never to the point of being drunk. I usually drink so slowly that a single glass of wine will last a very long time.

My dbf calls me a lush. I hardly ever drink. However, I guess that's a lush compared to him since he doesn't really drink at all.

Well I guess we would have to take into consideration "where" this drinking is being done as well...

Drinking causes me to get pregnant.

Really though it is sort of true. I drank at a wedding and a month later I was pregnant (or less then a month). Then we went to another wedding & I said I was going to drink alot because I was planning baby #2, sure enough a month or 2 later I got pregnant & we were done.

But the spring of 2005, I was done nursing so I was able to drink so dh & I started making cocktails at home.

Guess what I am holding a product of those cocktails.

So I am a bit afraid to drink even though I am now fixed.

In reality, dh has been drinking a beer a night just to get rid of them & normally we drink a few times a year.

I don't own wine glasses, so I use a tumbler.............I guess they hold about 12 ounces..........2 or 3 of those a night hold me over until morning.

Nah.........I'm not a lush, just relaxed.
