I tried, I really did. I had full intentions and even excited to buy my very first pair of Crocs. I walked into the store and even tried on a pair. My feet felt great! But I just couldn't part with my hard earned money for such ugliness. I am sorry if I can't join the club now, but my goodness those are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. I do agree with the comfort level...I might try again this weekend, I'll let you know if I succeed. ;)

lol. I feel for you! I've been really tempted to buy a pair too... but they're just so unattractive. Let us know if you do take the plunge!

Mine are bright yellow and I wore them EVERYDAY. There is no substitute for comfy feet. Even when the security guards were laughing before I got to the table, and then when I got there, they told me I had Donald's shoes on, I didn't care...I laughed with them. I bet their feet hurt in those boots all day..lol. Just buy a normal color, butter, khaki, or black. Even the pearl. You'll be glad you did.

We went to get Crocs today. I liked the flip flops, but the clogs.. ugh.

Hey Kim, don't feel bad, I've gone out twice now with the intention of buying a pair of Crocs and couldn't bring myself to do it either time.

I KNOW comfort is preference over style, but seriously could they not make these things even just a LITTLE better looking? They really are the about the ugliest shoes I've ever seen.

I may try again to buy a pair this weekend...but I don't know, I might only make it as far as trying them on.........

Hey! I know! Maybe some DIS'ers would be willing to be Croc's sponsers!
So when go to the store and need buying encouragement we could give them a call....and like for the 1st time wearing them in public, or after the first time we get laughed at, ect.... :lmao:

Yeah, you're not alone. I keep walking past them when I go to the mall and what not, but I just haven't brought myself to buy any yet. Hmm... I'll just have to think on it some more. Now, by no means am I very fashionable, but I can admit they are ugly and I just don't think they'll go with my jeans at all.

After you wear them for awhile, they kinda grow on you. That's what happened with me! Give them a try!

I still have not brought myself to buy a pair of these . . . . . I know how you feel -- I have not even tried them on

I agree that I thought they were the ugliest shoes I had ever seen. Not anymore, though! I now own 5 pairs, including the flip flops. It's amazing how I don't think they are ugly anymore! When I have to wear another pair of shoes, all I can think about is getting out of them, and into my Crocs. Take the plunge...buy a pair, and you will change your feelings about them. I will say, though....I don't like the flip flop as much as the Beach and Caymans.

Go ugly! :lmao:

You'll be glad you did. They are *that* comfortable.

I do believe I read on this board (somewhere- can't remember now!) that you can get jewel-like pin things to put on the crocs to make them look better. I took the plunge in Feb. & bought the navy beach crocs for my Feb. trip. Just loved them for comfort & being navy didn't look too bad with denim color jeans & capris! I will be looking for something in springy colors for summer capri's , etc.!! The comfort is fabulous!

Go for it. I've had mine close to a year now. I work 12 shifts in a hospital and when I tell you I leave with a spring in my step instead of moaning about sore feet and my back hurting.....its worth the uglinist. Several of my co-worker have now gone over to the UGLY side and they are glad they did.

Alright - WHERE do you get those!? THEYRE SO FUN!!!! :yay:

Now, with the popularity of Crocs at DisneyWorld - the merchandisers should take note! Imagine popping little Mickey heads, Hands, Shoes, etc - into your Crocs after discovering them in a shop?!?!? Pure delight!!! :woohoo:

Now, I personally dont think theyre that ugly - I see them as more *funky* :3dglasses

As a fan of Birkis, I think they are sorta cute! :) I haven't taken the plunge yet but I will soon. DD and I both want a pair.

I agree with you Cathryn Rose. Disney sells so much "stuff" yet there is so much they miss out on. I was there in January and wanted a WDW 2006 calendar (one with pics of the parks and attractions). They don't make one!
They are missing a great opportunity. I don't one with drawings of Cinderella and Snow White--I want a WDW lovers one!!

Hey Buckalew - they DO have a WDW 2006 calendar. I have one sitting right here on my desk . (It is a wall calendar) It has pics from all over WDW - parades, attractions and characters!

I agree. I can maybe see buying them to wear around the house. Maybe. But my feet are already so big the crocs would make them look like oceanliners.
