I know. I would just LOVE to be able to put on a dress like them.

You know, back when I was in high school they just didn't have the cute stuff like they do now. I swear that my prom dress looked like something from Little House on the Prairie and that was ALL they had (I think it was Gunne Sax). What a waste of a good figure back in those days!

Glad it worked out that way. At our school, it's the opposite. My DS is a junior and he took a good friend because he went stag last year and didn't have a good time. So it was important for him to have a date. If I can figure out how to post a picture, I'll put one up.

Yes, this is what you have to look forward to! It will be here before you know it. My DD just turned 15 (her friends are also 15--they are in 10th grade).

I went through some *stress* over the dress. About 3 weeks ago, we went shopping for the dress. Went all over the place and ended up getting a dress at a store called White House Black Market. Everything there is black, white, or gray. Very nice stuff and not too expensive. She got a really cute black dress. The morning of the dance, she tried it on so we could see how it looked and, lo and behold, the darn thing was too big throught he bodice. So, I said "Well, let's go up to Victoria's Secret and I'll get you a VERY padded black bra to fill this thing out." No luck. My DD is actually too small for the Victoria Secret bras.

So we went into Macy's and found the dress that she ended up wearing. Unfortunately it was about $30 more than the dress I originally bought, but it fit perfect and required no special "undergarments." It is a shiny beige dress with black lace covering it. The bottom puffs out and has black tulle under it.

No, the home belongs the girl in the gray dress. It is very well-decorated with a "beach" them throughout. Very cute house.
