I told her she can't.
We were shopping for Winter Boots this past Wednesday at a Farm and Fleet Store.
When I wandered away from my dd, because she couldn't choose which boots she wanted, 2 young teen boys were talking to her when I got back. (they were Amish). They were asking her why she was buying winter boots and she told them she likes to go sled riding with her friends at ski hills. They told her to pick the pink ones. When they left they were so red in the face.
My dd has to job shadow someone very soon for a career class and she told me she is going to go job shadow the Amish. We have a fairly large size Amish Community by us. They build many people's houses and they also travel by vans, not horse-drawn carriages. My dd wants to be a construction manager-and she said they do exactly what she wants to do.
I told her, I don't think those boys were even suppose to be talking to you, let alone job shadowing them for a day.
(Sorry, I really don't know there rules).
