My day at the park yesterday

Visited DL from open till about 7:00 yesterday. Perfect day! Light crowds, good weather and good people. No rope drop, though. Does anyone understand why sometimes they do one and other times not?

A few highlights:

• Traffic from LA at 6:15 wasn’t as heavy as I expected. That was the first surprise.

• I was the first on Peter Pan and Mr. Toad.

• I got to ride POTC four times. The longest wait was no more than 20 minutes.

• I got the high score of the day on Buzz Lightyear and even beat Dave (A.K.A. DLH), which is a rarity for me. I see him often at the park – usually on Sundays – and we typically compete against each other.

• I met someone who has a Club 33 membership and offered to take me sometime in the near future. I’ll post about that if it happens. That would be very cool. I’ve never been.

Overall, a great day; one of the best I've had at the park in some time.

Hope everyone's next visit is as good as mine was yesterday!

Dave (DLH) goes more often than I do and rides Buzz far more than I do. As above, you can see that he often runs the high score board. Sometimes his name is the only one up there .

Well, you don't need to look for mine. I am lucky if I come close to level 3. i am much better on TSMM
