to be ending words/sentences with "a."
As in....
Me - "No, you can't have popsicles for lunch." (And it's 30 degrees outside, who'd want to?)
DD - "Whyyyyyyyeeeeeeaaaaa?"
Me - "Because I said so, and I'm mean. Get used to it."
DD - "Fine. May I please have peanut butter?" (Yes, really. She's really into asking may I please lately, and we're thrilled, because "gimme" was driving me crazy).
Anyway, the "a" suffix is popping up a lot more lately. I thought I had a few more years before that started.
As in....
