to be ending words/sentences with "a."

As in....

Me - "No, you can't have popsicles for lunch." (And it's 30 degrees outside, who'd want to?)

DD - "Whyyyyyyyeeeeeeaaaaa?"

Me - "Because I said so, and I'm mean. Get used to it."

DD - "Fine. May I please have peanut butter?" (Yes, really. She's really into asking may I please lately, and we're thrilled, because "gimme" was driving me crazy).

Anyway, the "a" suffix is popping up a lot more lately. I thought I had a few more years before that started. :sad2:

Soon you'll hear, "Nooooooaaa" and "I DIDaaaaaa". So much fun...and she's only TWO??? :rotfl2:

Ahhh...gotta love the twos. The other day I asked my 2 year old DD why she won't poopie on the potty:

DD-"Because."

Me-"Because why?"

DD-"Because I said so."

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:
The things I have to look forward to with my DS!

I was just talking about my 7 year old DD doing this way too much!! Her little sister's name is Faith, so I'm constantly hearing "Faithaaa....stopaaa"

It's driving me crazy!

My dd7 has graduated from everything ending in "a" to everything being "In a minute" or her favorite " wait a minute" or " I willlllll in a minute" eyes rolling. I miss the "a" and the time before she talked :lmao:

My not even 2 year old DS has picked up a nice vocabulary from his sister who just turned 8.

"Some tanee?" (candy)
Me: No buddy, you did not have lunch yet.
DS "Sooooooo"

He has also yelled "No hear you!" when we are calling him! (DD never said that!)

Oh the things to look forward too!!! And I though the whining/pointing DD did now was the fun part!!:lmao: (<<<this is just me on a good day...yes, funny farm here I come)

I always wanted a daughter and by an oops had my Angel (yes, that is her name) 2 years after my son. The only thing is...in all those books no one ever mentions that PMS begins at birth!!!

On another note, Angel is a beautiful name. Maybe you don't want to take my advice, though, because apparently I gave my son a cat name

My youngest daughter is 3 1/2 now but when she was about 2 - 2 1/2, whenever we would call her and say "come here please", she would get a little fresh and say "why you callin' me?".

This thread is way to funny! My dd is 6. She walked downstairs yesterday with red lipstick on, I told her she looked horrible... later in the conversation she told me she would take it off before we left because the boys would think she was hot!! 6 year old! I could not believe what I was hearing! It amazes me the things she says. I laugh everytime she says. "that freaks me out!" 6 going on 16!

Thanks! It is the root name of 2 beloved family members, but man were we off with that name. Then again, yesterday she was Barbi and supergirl, and today she is Ariel.

It is the cutest thing...she finds my son and say, "Oh, my handaome prince!" and kisses him on the cheek. She is 3 and he is 5 so it is just disgusting to him.

This thread made me laugh! We went to dinner with a coworker for Thanksgiving and their daughter is hilarious. She has become a picky eater at 2 1/2. When you ask her to eat something that is not rice she looks at you seriously and says "I can't", not I won't, or I don't want to, or even no, but "I can't". And she says it like she is apologetic. As in "Hey I'm sorry you want me to eat that but I just can't" It's hilarious!
