You know it seems I am encountering more rude people. I saw a guest go up to a group of three girls that were dressed alike. All she said was "Hi" they said some sarcastic things to each other about "was she talking to them" and how she was pink and then they pretended to run away and hide and cry because they were scared of her because she was pink. It was just ridiculous to watch. I befriended the girl and told her I liked pink too. Not a good way for a new player to start playing VMK and having to deal with people like that. My daughter changed what her character is wearing. It's sad how our kids can be so influenced by others but maybe now she will be left alone. It's crazy that you can't have pink skin without being harrassed. Our society makes it where you feel like you have to fit in or you aren't anything.
not to make a joke out of it or anything, but its like racisim, except with ppl with pink, blue, and green skin!
but on a more serious note, it is a powerful example of how young girls see these models where ever and want to look like them and treat everyone that doesnt look like them like they are lower on the social system then they are. Truly a sad thing out society has come to these days, I'm just glad I can watch it from the outside and not be a part of it. Tell your daughter not to worry, and it never matters what other ppl think about what she or anyone wears or acts, it just matters then you are happy and comfortable for who you are.
