My dad got a pin code for Dec.!

So I've been praying for a pin code for our Dec. trip. I was positive that we wouldn't get one because my husband and I go to Disney at least twice a year. Recently we did receive a code in my husbands name. It wasn't very good so after calling and having the reservation on hold for the week with my parents in one room and us in another, I called and canceled. That was about a month ago and now Dad was mailed a pin code for free dining!!!!

The pin is good through Dec. 17. We are going from the 7 to the 12 of Dec.

Pop was still available for this pin offer. So we are staying there. My parents were impressed with the savings. For the three of them, my 23 year old brother is coming too, for 5 nights and 4 day tickets it's $1,223 with free dining. For us, two adults and a two year old for 5 nights and 4 day tickets it's $932. I'm going to up the tickets to 6 day because it doesn't cost much more. We'll add PH when we arrive.

Congratulations to you! I am hoping to receive this in the mail as well. My hubby said we can book if we get free dining. I'll keep my fingers crossed as I go to the mailbox tomorrow!

I would love a pin or AP discount for December. While I realize I should be happy with what I currently have and I am, really am, I would love to get something else.
I currently have 40% off with the military discount but that limits me to either the basic or regular dining plan and this will be a slow paced, smell the roses trip with my inlaws who love food so we really want to upgrade to the Deluxe Dining plan. So I will continue to keep my fingers crossed for a pin or AP discount that will give me a discount of some sort so I can get the preferred dining plan.

The PIN codes are aparently Random.

I recieved one last night, and called to ask a few questions about them.

I was told by the Agent that the computer decides who gets them and when. She also told me that Disney uses these as trial offers, and if enough people take advantage of the PIN, then they will put it out to the General Public.

All you need is to be registered with Disney to recieve Emails. I think I registered when I ordered my planning DVD, and I checked the box to allow Disney to send me offers.
