Our next trip is very much a last minute "Hey, let's go to Disneyworld!" kind of trip. So to keep the budget down (and because it's hard to get good ADRs on short notice) we are doing mostly Counter Service. FYI, we will be in an offsite condo and a lot of breakfasts will happen there (which also means we can have Starbucks instead of Nescafe!!). My goal is to choose as many CS places that have indoor, air conditioned seating as possible. And to also avoid eating burgers and fries all week.

Day 1: Epcot
B: Cape May Character Buffet
L: Sunshine Seasons
D: Yakitori House

Day 2: MK
B: In condo
L: Tortuga Tavern
D: Columbia Harbor House

Day 3: DHS
B: In condo
L: Sci Fi Dine In
D: Fairfax Fare (while we wait for Fantasmic)

Day 4: MK
B: In condo
L: Casey's Corner
D: Cosmic Rays

Day 5: Morning off- Evening at Epcot or DHS
B: In condo
L: In condo/offsite
D: Tangierine Cafe or Starring Rolls

Day 6: AK
B: Tusker House
L: Flame Tree BBQ
D: Order pizza in condo while we pack

Day 7: Downtown Disney (departure day)
B: In condo
L: Earl of Sandwich

What do you think? Also, which ones of these don't have indoor seating? My mind is drawing a blank on some of them.

Casey's has little to no indoor seating and I don't think Fairfax Faire has any (though it will be evening, so maybe it will have cooled off a bit).

But they look really varied and yummy to me!:goodvibes

I think you have a great line up!

Sunshine Seasons is my favorite CS at WDW. There's so many options, it tastes so fresh & delicious, and their desserts are wonderful!

Flame Tree only has outdoor seating, but it's very shaded and they have ceiling fans. Our trips are always in June when it's horribly hot, but I've never felt uncomfortable while eating outside there. It's surprisingly pleasant. Casey's has both indoor and outdoor seating, but the indoor area is very small so there isn't a lot of seating inside. We've always had to eat outside there. It's only got small covered umbrellas, and different than Flame Tree, I was very hot outside. I think because it lacks shade and all the sidewalks are around, it's just hotter. Starring Rolls is another place that only has outdoor seating. We've always been hot there too. Lots of sidewalk, no shade except skinny umbrellas. We do really like the food there, though, so it's worth it to us to eat there.

Hi! You have lots of great plans! I would mention that Starring Rolls has no indoor seating, and they close in the late afternoon around 5 pm I believe. Columbia Harbour House is one of our absolute favorite places to eat at WDW! We love the fish and chips, and the tuna sandwich. We also love Earl of Sandwich, yum! Casey's has very little indoor seating, but I love their cheese fries! They have a toppings bar where you can pump as much cheese as your little heart desires! It's awesome! We LOVE Tangierine Cafe. LOVE! Such good food. We get authentic middle eastern food here in NY and this is just as good! I hope you have a magical trip!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I like your lineup. Looks like you have a lot of great choices and variety!!

Hi! We are thinking about doing Cape May for Bkfst for our July trip! Would love a review!:rotfl: Also, Tangierine Cafe in Epcot and CHH in MK are our favorite CS restaurants!

About your Epcot or DHS day: you might need to re-think this one...Tangierine Cafe has shaded seating, but it's not indoor/air conditioned. Starring Rolls is not open for dinner, ever...they are closed by 4:00, sometimes even earlier (we've walked past there at 3:00 and they were closed.) Basically, they serve pre-made gourmet sandwiches for lunch and when those are gone, they're about done for the day there. I'm thinking about DHS and most of the counter service places are outside, but shaded seating. The only one I can think of that's definitely inside/AC is Pizza Planet.

Thanks for the heads up on Starring Rolls, I had no idea it closed early. Maybe that's why I've never noticed it before! Our alternative for DHS will be Pizza Planet, DH and the kids love it. CS in DHS is so tough to plan.

Also, that Casey's Corner on Wednesday probably won't happen anyway. We're doing an extended swim/nap break that day, so lunch will probably happen offsite or in our condo. That's probably the only thing I really miss when staying offsite, having a food court to go to after a midday swim.

Great line up! :thumbsup2

You may want to note that Flame Tree BBQ and Fairfax Fare do not have indoor seating, but FF has a little shaded pavilion and FT BBQ has one of the most scenic CS seating areas ever. I  it.

I think someone also mentioned that Starring Rolls tends to close pretty early, so you should keep that in mind as well. We ran into that problem on our last trip.
