My computer is "clicking". Should I be concerned?

My laptop crashed last week, so I've been using my boys' desktop. Now it is making an aweful noise. Anything I should be doing to avoid another computer catastrophe?

DH (IT guy) says that, worst case scenario, it's your hard drive. He says to back up your data, turn your machine off, and buy a new hard drive.

I agree that it is a possible hard drive issue.

Back up all your important data that you don't want to lose, turn the pc off, and go buy a new Hard Drive.
