My Comfort Inn LBV reservations has disappeared!

We made a reservation about a month ago for the Comfort Inn through travelzoo for $33/night for tomorrow through Friday. I told the hubby to print out the email confirmation to take with us because I always like to have those in case of problems. Well, he deleted the email. So I said call and confirm because then I'll feel better. He called and they have no such reservation for us. The helpful gentleman said he would book it for us at that rate if he could but they have no rooms available for those dates. Eek! We are just going to visit my daughter who is doing the CP and didn't want to spend a lot. I found a room at Orlando Vista hotel for $50/night. Hope it is okay. I was tempted to take it as a sign and just stay at a Disney hotel but they had nothing available either. Is Orlando going to be super crowded the next few days? I think we are going to visit Gatorland instead of Disney this time.

Did you call the actual hotel? I know when I tried to cancel some reservations I called the 1-800 number and they didn't have the reservation so I called the hotel and they were able to pull them up.

Call TravelZoo ASAP and find out what the deal is. The property should have had the reservation a couple weeks ago at the latest.

This maybe a stressful at this late date, but count your blessings. I stayed there one night and and lost 6 nights pre-paid to get out of there. It was disgusting. I paid $59 a night when I went a few years ago and I have noticed they keep having to lower the price to get anyone to stay there.

Try Rosenhotels.com for a number to ring, as we had a reservation through travelzoo, and I couldn't find our reservation on the comfort inn site, but a week before we were due to travel I had a reminder email which came from Rosenhotel website, and when I went onto that site my confirmation number brought up my reservation.

At the risk of asking what may be a dumb question, did your husband just delete it, or did he delete it from the trash can too? If not, it should still be there.

As another option, have you thought about doing Priceline?

Not a dumb question because it is quite possible. (I was thinking the same thing).

Did you give a credit card # when you made the reservation??
I'd be really careful about getting the name of the person who says your reservation isn't there. You might be charged as a no-show.
