Are these electronic coupons that you get for the free 12 pack? Or do they mail out coupons?

Go to the "my account" tab. Then click on the "redemption" tab. If it shows up there, the order should be processed.

took forever but I finally got 4 and 4 confirming emails. Two cups of coffee, 1 hour of tv and browsing on another tab while I waited

They are paper coupons.

Be aware that some stores may refuse to take them. A few weeks ago I was at a local chain (Dominick's ---owned by Safeway). I had a coupon for a free 12 pack that was sent to me because a few cans inside a pack I bought were damaged. The clerk had to call a manager and then went through a pretty thick booklet to compare the coupon to. She said that there are a lot of fake Coke coupons and they have to check. She said that there's talk that they may no longer accept coupons for free Coke because of it. I really hope not. I don't usually shop there but do when I have Coke coupons. I wait for a B2G2 (sometimes even 3 and sometimes you also get a box of crackers, bag of chips...) sale. Their normal price is high $6.49/12-pack and the limit on the coupon is $4.99 but I can get the deal for 2 coupons and $3.00 out of my pocket.

I got 13 of the 12-pack coupons in the mail today. Only 10 of them show as shipped on the mycokerewards site.

They have an expiration date of March. I hope that Dominicks has the B2G2 (or 3 would be even better sale) before then.
