hello there I'm fairly new to the dis and this is my first time on this thread, I hope you don't mind me barging in.

I'm a big COACH fan and while i love the new patterns, I'm a sap for some of the older styles that are no longer in stores. I saw a red one on ebay that i'm lovin but i'm nervous about purchasing a COACH on ebay b/c I'm afraid i'll pay for a fake. Is there anyway to tell just by looking at a pic online that a bag is real or not? The feedback is 100% but i'm still nervous about authenticity.

LOVE the scarf prints I have last year's and like this years too. I couldn't get the size bag I wanted this spring though, so passed.

I need a new bag......

do fake coach bags have serial numbers imprinted in the inside to make them look more real or is that one way to tell if it is authentic or not? the auction i am intereseted in ends in 2 hours!

My fake Coach has the little box inside that is sewed to the lining stating that this is an authentic Coach, blah, blah stuff. Some of the fake Coaches you can tell by the direction that the Cs go (if they have Cs on them). Compare the fake one on Ebay to any one on the Coach website to see if the Cs go in the same direction, maybe that will help.

I have had NO problems with snagging--- yet. and I have used the heck out of my fall bag. Just changed to my last summer's bag last week......
It DID get really dirty though

I am not a "brand name" type of person ---- but ---- my soon to be 21 yr. old daughter is!

One of her friend's has a summer job at the local Coach store and I scored some very nice gifts (belt, purse, and cell phone holder) for her birthday with his discount that he's allowed to give to friends and family!!

So, I went to that little website that takes all my money and I went and ordered my most favorite bag and this

in khaki...cute huh?

I have last summer's scarf print hobo and haven't had an issue with snagging. Mine is filthy too but not snagged.

I haven't had problems with things falling out of mine, of course I overpack so things can't move....maybe that's why!
