My challenge to VMK staff

I challenge you to log in as a regular player and complete this quest. You may not use any of your "host powers" (ex. entering a full room or being able to boot afk people so you team can enter the lobby)

I'd personally, love to hear how that works out for ya...

I saw 2 Staff yesterday in one of the 3 Mansion rooms and I asked if they tried the quest yet and got completely ignored. They responded to everything else I said though...thought that was kinda funny...

I was thinking the same thing Sunday morning...

If the staff member was a programmer or a QA tester, I think they would be able to pass, no sweat.

If the staff member was anyone else, I would be very impressed if they did pass this quest.

Right - and we don't need to play the quest... my challenge was - could they...

Obviously it is possible... people have done it. I am sure when whichever staff member set this score - they achieved it. However - I would love to see them try now... With the rediculous lines, major crashes ad the rest of the fun that goes along with it...

I dont think this post is asking them to test it. It's asking them to do it so they understand how hard it is and why everyone is so fed up with it.

The day before the quest was released Fin said that she did not write the quest, but that she did test it. She said that it was "very not easy" but that she did complete it and "if I can complete it, you can."

What I didn't appreciate yesterday was being bullied by a staff member (that will go unnamed) to join a game. "If you're waiting for a friend," they said, "they are stuck in line. Please join so others have a chance."

My opinion is that if they create a quest that has a rather high pirates score - that requires teamwork for almost anyone to get passed - then they shouldn't come into Pirate Lobbys and bully people into joining games.

Last I checked, there were no rules (Values) that said standing in a room - any room - was punishable by booting or banning.




Other than that, I love this quest. It's so nice to have amazing prizes, and a great challenge. I find myself enjoying VMK more and more while trying to do this quest. Kudos from me, VMK Team!

Yes - I am sure - before Friday - many many many people beat that score... What I was challenging them with was:

Do it now (or over this past weekend) when 7,000 people were attempting it. Get in line for a lobby - deal with half your team crashing etc...

Next week it will be a much easier for most too...
