My cat keeps licking the window..WHY?

seriously, my 7 year old cat has been licking the windows.

Of course it is the one right behind the couch where I sit to read...The sound is driving me crazy

Anybody have any idea why she is doing this? She has plenty of fresh water in her bowl.

has she always done this or is it a new thing? My cat like to lick plastic bags but not chew them.I asked the vet and she said cats lick random things because they like the way it feels on their tongues. :teeth"

All cats are completely mental. Mine loves plastic bags, like from Target. He's also fond of Q-Tips, the plastic ring from the milk cap, carpet fibers, and cobwebs.

My older male Cat Bebe licks the handle of the laundry basket and then rubs his face on it...OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN...... He must really like it.

Cats are weird, we must live with this weirdness if we want to live with them...Sorry the noise is driving you nuts.

I think there are some cats that are just nuts! One of ours won't stop licking the tile grout around the tub. Well, unless he's licking the pictures laying around that I haven't put into an album yet! Weird!!!

I don't have a problem with our cat licking the windows. But I sure wish I could get my Dfi's 2 year old niece to stop doing that. And the TV...

My cat was a bag licker for a long time. The vet said cats lick things when they're bored. I was like "um, its a cat. they sleep like 20 hours a day. why the heck would they be bored?"
