I am on a laptop and she is literally laying across the bottom where the "mouse" is. To keep from waking up the Princess I am using the little mouse thingy in the middle of the G and H and the buttons below the space bar.

She is ROTTEN!!! I wish I was able to get a picture of this but if I move it would wake Her Highness up.

A similar thing happened to me earlier!! Last night my cat was curled up on my pilow when I went to bed so I curled up lower down the bed!!

You're a good cat mom, Beth. :) I have been known to do the exact same kinda thing with my three spoiled rotten cats. :)

My cats are my babies thats for sure. I can definatly see myself rearranging where I sleep so one of them can have the pillow....LOL!

On another note Cairo (my oldest Maine Coon) has started going with me to pick J.C. up from school everyday. She runs to the door, goes out, walks straight to the truck and jumps in and meows the entire way. Never once has she tried to run away or explore (She is NOT an outside cat) she just walks straight to the truck.

Cali and my grey cat, I forgot his name, aren't spoiled rotten in the least...... ;) :p :teeth:

Beth - this sounds like another little girl kitty that I know.
Daisy has a habit of laying right down on the keyboard or at the top of it when I'm typing and I somehow decide to type around her instead of making her move.

Right now she's on her warming unit (the monitor) so I think I'm safe for now. I know she'd die if she knew that flat screen monitors existed - LOL! ;)

I am a horrible, evil, nasty cat-mommy. I don't let my cat climb on the laptop.

I have, however, been known to brush my teeth in the bathtub so as not to disturb His Majesty's nap in the sink! :)

I am sometimes really uncomfortable in bed but will not move so I don't disturb the "kings" and '''queens" of the house. So they get a good nights sleep and I'm tired in the morning!

Okay, I thought I was the only one who does stuff like that for my cats. I think I get that from my mom, though. My father has developed awful allergies kind of late in life and he goes into awful sneezing fits around the cats. I asked her before his trip to the allergist the first time "what if he says you have to get rid of the cats?" and she said "well, it was sure nice being married...." Luckily the allergist just gave my dad a prescripton.

I try to discourage my cats from sleeping on the laptop though, but I've found that no matter what I do when I'm around, when I'm not around they do whatever the heck they want anyway (nothing like walking in and seeing all three lounging on the diningroom table! But the second they see me, they jump down, so they KNOW they are not allowed up there!)

OMG Beth!! Are you kidding?? Your kitty wants to ride in the truck? I thought all kitty's were afraid of being in a car! My cat used to hyperventilate when I brought her in the car with me. I thought about carrying a tiny paper sack for her to breath into when that happened, but then decided to just leave her at home! :teeth:

Just wanted to tell you that our cats look like yours. However, their names are Harry, Louie (Jungle Book) & Pearl

It is as it should be. Cats are born to be spoiled. It's their right of passage. I do my part every day. I also help keep the canine population spoiled as well!!!:teeth:
