My cat is snoring...

When my cat sleeps she will occasionally "talk".
She makes these really guttural growls and almost squeals.
Twitches a little too, she seems really po'd.
She lives a sheltered life of an indoor cat. Limited contact with much of anything, her 2 dogs, some birds out the window. She sounds so mad in her sleep I wonder which one of us she is dreaming about and why is she so angry.

Her two dogs? LOL!

I was once at the vet where a woman told me that her dog has had a cat all of his life. I think it's funny that our pets have pets.

Back to OT: Fergie snores too.

My mom's cat* snores, it's hilarious. He often sleeps in an empty drawer that he claimed for himself so when he sleeps in it and snores it's extra loud. :lmao:

Edited: I initially typed my mom's CAR snores. Yeah. Sleep deprivation, perhaps?

You made me laugh out loud!:rotfl2:

It's even more ridiculous in person! When he first started doing it, we couldn't figure out what the heck the noise was. Never in a million years did we expect it to be a snoring cat sleeping in a drawer. :lmao:

:rotfl: My cat will disappear and when I can't find him, I start opening the closet doors and cupboards. He'll just sit there and wait for me to find him. Yet, at 3PM on the dot he's yowling all over the house for someone to feed him.

No, :rotfl2: go back and read what you wrote :rotfl2:

You said car instead of cat - but it still funny with the cat.

My cat is so fat that hearing her snore comforts me as I know she is still breathing.
There are times where I have to poke her to make sure she is still breathing when she doesn't move or make any noise for a while.

I too have a snoring chattering cat (when he's asleep!!) He lies on his back, legs wide open showing everything he hasn't got any more (IYKWIM) and produces some really weird noises. Sure entertains any guests we have!! Cute tho!!!

My cat, Caly snores and grumbles in her sleep. She loves to sleep under my bed up near the headboard so her snores help lull me to sleep at night.

I think only pet people will get this. My oldest dog I feel like I can tell the difference between her happy dreams, scary dreams, sad dream and angry dreams. She howls, whimpers, laughs, cries and a couple of other things when she dreams. I'd love to be able to see her dreams. My other 2 cat and dog dream, but the oldest really puts on a performance.

I was on the couch late one night, the dh was out working, and the dog started to grow, a growl he NEVER growls, really scary. I'm sure someone's in the house and I look over at him, he's sounds a sleep in the easy chair growling in his sleep, lol. I can only imagine what he was dreaming about.
