My cat is missing...(UPDATE)

My cat, "Georgie", is missing. Nobody has seen her since last night about this time. She is an indoor cat, front declawed. She is a beautiful Maine Coon with a white lion-like mane.

Nobody remembers her sneaking out and nobody has seen her today. We have searched the house and interrogated her older sister, "Pixie." She's not talking.

We are surrounded by 4 acres of woods. I fear the worst.

Thanks for letting me share my sadness.

As the "parent" of 3 kitties, I am so sorry. My first cat disappeared after living with us several years, so I know what you are feeling. I hope she finds her way home quickly & safely.

As a fellow cat lover, I can empathize with you. When we moved to Florida last year, one of our indoor cats got out, after only a month of being in the new house. We were so upset. About 12 days later, we heard a meowing at the front door and there she was! Don't lose hope...cats are amazing creatures!

I feel your pain. I'm a fellow cat mama. My oldest and most darling kitty (declawed and all) wandered out our door while we were moving in a refridgerator two years ago. She never came back I'll never forgive myself for that. Now I NEVER leave the doors open, ever.

aww hope kitty finds the awy home our furbaby was missing for 3 months,, she snuck out during a storm and ended up 3 miles from home,, afriewnd saw her at a hair sallon begging for food,,, she called her name and kitty was like abullet into her car,, she litterally jumped 20 ft from thre friends arms to dws when she saw her momma,, then she went straight in to her food dish andstayed therre till itwas em,pty( we hasd another cat too) we had not left food out for her for three months

come to think of it the lil snit snuck out when dw left for movies i think,, havent seen her in a while

Don't lose hope, I had a Persian years ago. She was declawed and strictly indoor. She was missing for 3 days once, turned up at the door meowing to get back in. Don't know where she was but we were very happy to see her again

If you have a barn or a shed on your property check them and if you have neighbors ask if they can check too. My husband's cat was once locked in a barn for days. Hope you find Georgie.

Our house kitty escaped and after a lot of tears and 3 days later, she was found trapped in our neighbor's garage. She must of hidden in there and they shut the door never knowing she was there...
