My cat has no winter fur

And it's a chilly 4 degrees wind chill today.

She woke me up this morning from having a major hairball attack. Apparently, she's still shedding.

Anyone else's pet as confused as mine is from all the strange weather?

I feel bad for the wild animals who remain outdoors & didn't grow in their winter fur because it was unseasonably warm for so long. This weather is too harsh for them now.

My dog did the same thing. Started growing a fur coat in the Fall, as usual. Then it stayed warm and stayed warm, so he started shedding the coat all over the place.

Now it's cold and his coat is not as thick as it usually is this time of year.

My black cat is losing hair like crazy ! Every room I go into I find small black piles of hair where she has laid! At first I thought she was pulling it out ,but then I watched her for awhile and as soon as she got up ,there it was!
