We keep my dog's treats in a large plastic canister. My daughter's cat jumped up where the canister is kept and managed to lift the lid until it fell off. She put her head inside and meowed a few times. Then she ran over to her dish which was empty.

I filled her dish and she ate as though she hadn't seen food in 3 days instead of the three hours it was empty.

I think I'll rename her Sarah Berncat after Sarah Bernhardt.

What a performance.

If my TJ can feel his whiskers touch the bottom of the food bowl (no matter if there is still food around the edges) he will stand at the door to that room and cry like his little kitty heart is breaking! When you walk into that room, he will run from you to the food bowl and back a million times, crying about how neglected he and the other cats are...even though there is food all around the edges of the bowl! Spoiled kitty!

My TUbby TIgger doesn't like to even SEE the bottom of the bowl. THey are too cute and funny.
