My brother is so cool!

my youngest brother called and told me what he'd been doing for Cam ( ds10) for Christmas. He said he'd been shopping on ebay for a few months now and had amassed a huge amount of old coins from all over the world for Cam!

He will LOVE that! DB said some are very old and barely recognizable.
I just think its really thoughtful to put that much effort into my sons gift!
Cam will have a blast going through all of them and trying to figure out where they came from.



Isnt that cool that he did that? I think so often we just focus on what the hot new toy is and how to get in and out of the mall as quick as we can. Leave it my brother to give something that no one would think of and that he had to really work for! What a cool guy!



Now where do I find a book about old coins that will help this search? LOL

Very cool he took the time to do that. And how neat to get something so different like that instead of the latest hard to find toy that they play with for 2 seconds and move on. You can find anything on ebay!

What a great idea! Not only fun, but educational. It'll be a blast researching them. I'm sure you could find a great book on Amazon or at Barnes & Noble or Borders.

That is really cool! I actually have tears in my eyes (I am very senstitive), I guess because my family isn't close. I hope your son enjoys those coins for years to come. He will know what a great uncle he has.
