Just a little follow up for those that may be following my story. I am still emailing and talking to my BirthMom Cyndi daily. I had the shock of my life when my Dad (adoptive) informed me that he was paying for me to fly out to OHio to meet her face to face. SO I leave in 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooo hooo! SOrry folks but this ranks higher than my countdown for the pin trading

That is great news. I hope all goes well with your trip. Speaking from an adoptive mom's view point. We hope someday our Nikolas will find his birth parents. We have saved all the info we have on them. I think it is very important to answer alot of questions. I am glad your dad is so supportive.

Well I leave in just 3 days to meet my Birthmom face to face. Talk about an exciting trip in the making. No pins this time though I think I will be ok without them. We have still been talking talking on line and email, and also phone. Its so comfortable it is almost creepy. To say that this has been a lifelong dream come true is an understatement.
