My Big Lots find

I got my DD a girlie autograph book for $.33. It is about 4x6 and has purses, chunky shoes, flowers, ect. on it. It says "autographs doddles dreams". I just thought it was too cute and for $.33 it was even better. I found it in the aisle that has the school supplies. Ours was loaded with them and they had the matching photo albums in the frame area.

I'm wishing I had gone to Big Lots earlier. They had those plastic containers of different sizes w/ the lids (one size lid fits all) on a spin stand for $7! It was 19.99 at Target! No kidding. The same product. I had wanted to try it too.

Oh well. I guess it will go on sale again.

I went to Big Lots in search of a birthday present for a niece who doesn't need anything and found a really cute Winnie the Pooh music box from Disney Home products for $4.99. It plays the theme from "Winnie the Pooh" and looks MUCH more expensive than it was.

I went in there this morning. I was just looking in every isle. When I was checking out I noticed a box of 'stuff' on the counter that the cashier was putting price labels on. I saw a Pooh ......... I asked her what they were ........ she took one out and showed me. They were watches ..... there was Pooh, Minnie and a Princess one. She said they were going to be in the ad in the paper tomorrow. I asked her could I buy some now .... she said sure!! I got 10 of them!!! They come in a nice tin and the watches look very expensive, not cheap at all. The Minnie and Pooh are more for older kids and adults!! I can't tell you how GOOD they look.
The best part of it all is they were ONLY $4.99!!!

The watches were in the ad that ran Sunday here. I went to BL on Monday and they didn't have them. Maybe I'll scoot over there at lunch again today. Last time BL had watches I got Tink/Peter Pan's 50th for $4.99 - cute!

I got the watches on Saturday. I got a really cute Winnie the Pooh one and a Steamboat Mickey one. The bands are really cheap on them- the faces are really nice looking. So, DH and I went to Walmart and picked up much nicer bands for $9.00. So, even at $13 total, they are very nice.

Well, I'll certainly be running down to Big Lots on my lunch hour. Those Disney watches will be a great little stocking stuffer for our neice and nephew. Where abouts are they located in the store so I don't have to wander aimlessly about the store (and buy lots of stuff I don't need).

You people are running me to death.........now I have to go to Big Lot's as soon as I leave work today. I'm doing 2 gift baskets for friends who are taking their first WDW vacation and I need anything Disney I can find. Thanks for sharing your fabulous "finds".

I bought something similar a few years a go for treat bags for my DD's birthday. You might want to go back and put some away for later.

Just got back from my Big Lots lunch excursion. Luckily our store still had a few remaining. I was able to score two Steamboat Willie's and a Pooh.

I went to Big Lots last night after seeing the ad (supposedly the sale started yesterday), and they only had 2 Steamboat Willie watches and a few Eeyore watches left. I was hoping for something more adult and female (for me and my mom!) The Steamboat Willie was obviously a men's watch, and both my DH and my brother already have Disney watches that my mom got them for Christmas last year!

Big lots just opened up near me in philly, and I found beanbag chairs for 9.95!I bought 4 of them for my kids and my neice and nephew.................I know they are gonna love them just like I did as a tween! Mine was pleather and it was bright red! I miss the 70`s! LOL

I leave in 2 days to see princesses!
