When school started this year I bought a bunch of school supplies to keep at home. One of the things I bought was a package of permanent markers by Rose Art. They are similar to Sharpies. There were 5 in the pack and they were different colors. I thought it would be nice to use them on the kid's snack bags and to label stuff.
I opened the pack the other day and noticed that the blue pen was cracked open. It had dried out. I put the pens back in the plastic container and put it with some other stuff I had to return to Target.
Yesterday I took the stuff back. I thought I would just buy another pack of these same markers. The woman refunded my $$ -- $1.87 for the 5 pack and she put the still working markers in the customer service drawer.
I went to see if I could find a new pack but since their school supply section is gone the selection was very limited. The only permanent markers they had were Sharpies and the multi packs were $6.99.
Now I was bummed I had returned the others. Even 4 markers for the original price was a deal. So I went back to Customer Service and asked the girl there if I could rebuy my markers. I had my receipt (this was a new employee.) She asked the manager and he said no problem. I told her where the pens were. I thought I would be paying the $1.87 I had originally paid but the manager said that it would be at the reduced price since the back to school stuff had gone on an even more discounted sale.
I ended up getting four pens for $.27 total. Good bargain especially since I didn't expect it.
