It's the PRINCIPLE! This is a lot of money and a special time you are planning for your family--I would be disappointed too!! Maybe they could identify some of the TA's as "Disney friendly" to give better customer service to their customers. After all, you are seeking their assistance because supposedly they have the expertise and you don't. It's not the CD player, it's about a TA treating you like their most important client for the brief times you interact with them and helping you have the best vacation possible!

Picking up your trip info should be magical and exciting. Unfortunately, most of the agents I worked with hated booking Disney and working with these clients. As this was the most popular destination, they were bored with booking these trips and forgot about making it special. I considered them to be travel snobs. Ironically, my TA (who I aspired to be like) was an exception and really went above and beyond. I learned a lot from her-more than I could ever learn in school. At this point in my life, I never use a TA.Nor am I a TA. We drive more often than not, but flights are booked online and we own DVC. When I worked for AAA we did not work on commission or charge booking fees, but that was before the internet. Sending some enthusiasm and pixie dust your way
