My youngest just turned 2 and we are headed for the parks in late Feb she is very small only 30 inches and 22 lbs. What rides can she go on? We have not been since 2008 and she did not go on anything at that time ( only 4 months old then). My son is 5 1/2 and I think he can go on a lot of the rides but I was just curious about my daughter. Is there anywhere I can look as far as what height or weight may be required for a ride?

Thanks!

Lots! Everything in Fantasyland (although I might skip the teacups) - but certainly Small World, Dumbo, Casey Jr and the Storybook Land Canal Boats are all great for that age. Mr Toad & Snow White might be a bit scary though.

Buzz Lightyear can even be fun - we used to call it the 'shooting robots' ride. Jungle Cruise is fun because of the animals.

There will be lots that will be fun for her this time!
Here's a link with height restrictions:

Most rides have no reuqirement. It's easier to name the ones she can't go on:
35": Matterhorn, gadgets go coaster, bumper cars at DCA
40": space mt, splash mt, BTMRR, soarin, star tours
42": GRR, mulholland madness, TOT (may be 40")
46": Indy
48" or more: CA screamin, maliboomer

my 6 mo old went on everthing not listed. Too bad you had to miss out on your last trip.

We took our DD who was 2 and maybe 2 weeks for the first time and we had a total blast!! I hope you do to. I showed her the rides on youtube beforehand so she knew what to expect. She rode everything that she could, loved the tea cups, loved Haunted Mansion, loved dumbo, loved astro orbitor, loved everything we went on, except maybe Roger Rabbit, she covered her eyes on that one for some reason. It's been about 7 months and she still asks to go back just about everyday. We had such a wonderful time. Her fav rides were dumbo, the horsey's (that's what she called them) and tea cups. We did all of those several times.

My advice is to just go at her schedule and follow her leads. Don't rush anything. We started with Dumbo and I think that was a great 1st ride.

Good luck and have fun!!

Anything without a height requirement is the short answer.

I personally wish that we'd started off in bug's land at DCA! Totally happy and friendly to little ones (if you avoid It's Tough To Be A Bug) with fun music and great theming. No scary witches peering down at you, no psychadelic Wonderland, no dark lines like in Peter Pan, etc etc etc like in Fantasyland.

I second that! And I too would suggest the YouTube videos of the rides you think you might want to try so you can make sure she is comfortable with them.

She can go on the Pooh ride and Heimlich's Chew Chew train in CA Adventure, in addition to the ones already mentioned.
