I get a lot of emails asking what kind of camera I use. I used two different digital cameras. My old camera was a 1 MP Kodak and my new camera is a Kodak DX3900, 3.1 MP digital. I notice a big difference in quality between the two.
But great pictures don't always jump off the camera; just as important is a good photo-editing software program. I edit all of my pictures; cropping, resizing, sharpening, even removing unwanted elements. I believe that Adobe makes the best photo-editing software, but PhotoShop is fairly complicated. I use PhotoDeluxe, which uses some of the elements from PhotoShop. Sadly, it's being discontinued. Adobe has another product, PhotoShop Elements which is also less involved and easier to use than PhotoShop. I'm not affiliated with Adobe in any way, I just like their products. And as much as I use PhotoDeluxe, I learn something new everytime I use it. It's really amazing what you can do with your photos.
So If a photo doesn't come out as well as you hoped, don't give up - you may be able to save it.
