I'll probably be talking to myself as I have no idea what to write, but hey ho! lol :cool1:

Cast

Me - Gem 23 -Disney obsessed mum This will be my 3rd trip to Florida. The last time was 2000! So it'll like going for the first time all over again.

Cameron, will be 5 - New found love of Disney, mainly Peterpan and little mermaid! He' 5 in a month and wants a Disney themed party and dollars for presents! I'm training him well he he. :yay:

Alyssa, will be 3 - loves princesses, but also loves Cars and POTC! :woohoo:

I was planning on saving for 5 years!!!!! For when they are 10 and 8, as I think this is perfect to get on all the rides, and remember the magic. We were going to do everything, all the parks, swim with dolphins, Disney hotel, do all the ADR's, and go for 5 whole weeks! :cool1: :hippie:

Until the other week when I found this site. I've been a member of a few other disney/florida/orlando sites, but this one really made me want to go again. Hoping to go for around 15 nights (don't want to waste the first day travelling and unpacking! ).

Soooo, while I still plan to go in 5 years and do it all, I want to go in 2009 now too! :thumbsup2

I'm really flexible with dates, so I'm hoping for a late booking, as I can't make up my mind what month I want to go! I'm leaning towards March, but it could be any day really (what do you recommend?). I'd love to go for halloween, but I think I might save that for when the kids can appreciate it more. I love it there at Halloween! :stir:  :yay:

So, I'm still looking for cheap deals, and if I find one, it'll be booked! But until then, I'm just going to save and get the kids in the disney spirit, not that it's hard! So far we have $700 saved up for spending money I think. I just need to save for the actual holiday now. :surfweb:

I don't know whether to buy multi tickets as I don't know where we'll be going yet, so I might just pay at the gate. I know it works out cheaper if you're planning on going to all the park, but I think we'll miss Epcot for one, and I don't know how much spare cash we'll have to play around with. :headache:

I'm planning on taking my uncle, as he's always been there for us, and frankly I'll need another pair of hands! It'll be handy to use the baby swap so us big kids don't miss out on the big rides! lol I can't wait to go back on Duelling Dragons, that was fab! :worship:

I'm gutten BTTF has closed! That was a brilliant ride, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the new simpsons ride is like. :confused3

I've got a Peter Pan costume and Captain Jack Sparrow costume for Cameron so he can choose one for his party and wear it at MK too! I've got Cinderella, Belle and Snow white for Alyssa. She's going to look so beautiful. :cutie: :lovestruc

I've also got a few DVD's (Cinderella and Little Mermaid came today! Watched them twice already lol. Kids love them) so they will know who the characters are. I've got party bags, and disney related prizes for Camerons party next month. I think he'll love that! :thumbsup2 :3dglasses

Sorry for babbling on. Any readers I may have had have probably fallen asleep by now! :faint:

If this is too long, let me know so I don't bore you again at my next update.

I'm so excited and I've not even got anything planned yet! I'm waiting for Sleeping beauty DVD to arrive now. I love that film and I'll be shouting on the phone if it's not here tomorrow!!!! lol  :lmao:

Hope you aren't too bored. Next entry, hopefully a booking! :yay: :badpc:

Gem x

great start, good luck with the planning:thumbsup2

sounds like you are going to have lots of fun planning :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks everyone! You all live so close to me. I'm in Rutland, UK. Oakham to be precise lol. I lived in Leicester all my life until a couple of yes ago. How about you all?

Excellent start, looking forward to hearing more:)

Brilliant start :thumbsup2

Sounds like you are going to have such a great time. I find the planning bit almost as good as the being there bit.

We have had to have a break form WDW for three years as Mark got fed up with Disney and resented paying a fortune in flights during the August school holidays when it is sooo hot. Really missing it now. Have just started planning for my friend's 40th birthday in 2010. We are celebrating her 38th this year at Disneyland Paris, using up some of our DVC points.

Looking forward to reading your up-dates.
