My area was hit hard by the tornadoes

Nikki, Seville is about 85 miles southeast of Port Clinton and about 150 miles east of Van Wert.

As far as I can tell, Seville is near Cleveland. They are not in the area that has been hit the worst. We have 5 confirmed dead in this area, 14,000 without power. 2 hospitals have been hit, 1 is being evacuated. There has been massive destruction with as many as possibly 35 tornadoes in our area (unconfirmed). Many, many homes have been destroyed, and much of the area is in a state of emergency with the National Guard called out.

I don't know yet if our missing residents have been accounted for. At least 4 of our senior living condos were leveled, and 5 apartments were damaged. So far, the nursing home and the assisted living do not appear to have sustained major damage.

We had a major gas leak due to the storm. This was very scary stuff to live through.

We also had some tornadoes touch down not far from us..we were under a warning for about 2 hrs. tonight..VERY SCARY!!!!

I hope all of our Dis'sers and their loved ones are well this morning. I guess TN-OH-AL-VA were all hit hard. One area has 126 people missing.

Bonnie, I heard on the news this morning that NW Ohio was hit the worst out of all the areas that were hit by the storm front... you know you all in that area are in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers. My residents were all located safe and sound. 6 of the senior living condos were either completely destroyed or badly damaged according to the news this morning.

Many cities in our area have school closings today and several cities are completely closed, under a state of emergency, with noone allowed in. The fatality count remains at 5 this morning. Port Clinton was very lucky, as even with the severe damage that they sustained, no one was badly hurt. Several condos were washed into Lake Erie.

I am still numb this morning.
