Day 5: Lunch at ABC Commissary (CS)- the most average meal of the week. I had intended to get out of MGM before lunch but we couldn't make it. I had the stir fry vegetable noodle bowl, DH had the cuban sandwich, DS had a burger and the girls, say it with me....chicken fingers! Nothing was great it but desserts were pretty good. I really liked the strawberry parfait and it was sugar free!
Grade: C

Dinner at Boma (TS) - Yes, it is as good as they say. What a buffet! The prime rib was outstanding. The soups were a little sweet for me but very good. The kids ate mac and cheese and of course, chicken fingers. Lots of fresh fruit. The most fun was trying everything. I have to have a bite of everything and I really enjoyed it all! Even if you don't think you'd like something here, try it. It was really all good. CM made us feel a little rushed so I purposely took my time. Good wine too (S. African). And, the Zebra domes..... sooo good. Little bite sized chocolate mousse and coffee flavored domes on a chocolate sponge cake - a great ending.
Grade: A- (CM was annoying)

Day 6: Breakfast at Akershus with the princesses (TS) - You go for the experience not the food. We were full from Boma the night before anyway. Cinnamon rolls were good but completely average scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and some fruit. Its served family style. The princesses were terrific though. My dds were in complete awe. When you first enter you have a private moment with Belle and a formal picture is made. You are then seated and the princesses rotate to your table. We had Jasmine, Snow White, Mulan and Aurora. Plenty of time for autographs and photos. My DDs wore there princess outfits and we then changed into shorts in the restroom after breakfast.
Grade: B

Dinner at CRT (OOP) - We had to do this. I've been going to Disney since the mid 70's and have never been. It was a surprise to the kids and they loved it. Even my DS thought it was cool. Maybe I was just burned out from all the eating but I didn't think the food was that good. I had the fish and my DH had the veal chop. It was good, just not great. The kids had a veggie and cheese and fruit appetizer which was nice and of course as the final meal....chicken fingers! Cinderella is in the hall when you enter and you get your picture with her (2 poses) and autographs. The Fairy Godmother and 2 mice put on a great show during dinner. You also get 2 lithographs of the castle. A must do at least once experience.
Grade: B+

We discovered on Day 7 (travel home day) that we had extra CS so we ate at Pepper Market at CSR. It was really good and I'm glad we got the opportunity to try it.
Snack credits were used on water, ice cream, slurpees in Epcot and chips. Brought home a few Mickey rice crispy bars too.

Wow.... we ate a lot and this is longer than I thought it would be :faint: . Hope it helps some of you!

Great reviews....we are also going to try the Princess breakfast. Glad to hear the characters are really good there. I had heard the breakfast was just average but we are really going for the character interaction anyway.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for taking the time to share your reviews. :goodvibes

Great reviews! Suddenly I'm in the mood for chicken fingers.....I don't know why.... :teeth:
Where in Epcot did they allow you to get Slurpees? I'm not big on the other snack choices, but I do love Slurpees and would love to have that as an additional option for our snack credits.

It was at a snack cart between the Living Seas and The Land. I was surprised to see the DDP snack credit icon next to these but they were very refreshing on a hot day. The kids got blueberry (which was sweeter) and DH and I split a raspberry (which was a little tart but very good). Hope you can find it!

hi, thanks for the reveiws. one question, please? at the princess breakfast, was belle dressed in her gold dress? thanks in advance.
