Thanks much. It's good to hear that about Yak & Yeti! We'll definitely have to get the onion rings now!! :)

FYI: We really love the Ohana Character Breakfast. It's the only one we are doing this time and everyone was in agreement. Good food, good character, good location!!:thumbsup2

Here's a link to my review (Post #10) of Yak & Yeti (with pictures): http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1952509&highlight=25th+anniversary

I've heard great things about Ohanas. But as two adults with no little ones any longer and not fans of Stitch, we prefer Crystal Palace for the food and characters. We would like to try Ohanas one night fror dinner.

Have a great time. :)

We will have an 8 year old and a 10 year old so the character thing is a must. On previous trips we've done several character meals and this time we're only going to do one.

Thanks for the link to your great review. I believe I read that a long time ago. :surfweb: I'm a HUGE dining review/food porn junkie!!

We've done Crystal Palace that last few trips as well as Chef Mickeys (whic wasn't that great) but we really Like Ohana's character breakfast. Although I was considering trying to fit 1900 Park Fare in there somewhere..........:goodvibes

If you try Wolfgang Puck Express go to the one in Market Place, this has got to be the best CS at WDW, his Cafe is good as well.If you try Kona try it for dinner, I would not try it for lunch.

Hi guys,

Here's my ADR's :lovestruc for our up-coming trip in January:

Day 1: California Grill for the fireworks (NEW) - That sounds like a good one. I have a lot of people that this one is a must.

Day 2: Teppan Edo (and then Illuminations) - I have only heard really good things about this one. I am going in December and I'm so excited. I think we are going to LOVE it.

Day 3: Sci Fi Diner lunch (NEW) - I liked it.. It was something different. I have to say that it was really dark and it wasn't easy to eat cause I like to see my food and with the lighting it wasn't easy.

Day 4: Coral Reef (kids love the fishes) - One of my friends can't stand this place so I have personally stayed away from it because of that reason but like my mom and I were talking about that it didn't mean I wouldn't like it. We were going to try to add it to out trip in December but it is booked up. My friend had a long string of things so wrong the time she was there. She has 5 little ones and 2 were asleep and she wasn't told that there was a waiting area and had to try to sit in the floor with them, then they were running behind, Then the little one that had been sleeping woke up and didn't want to eat and the server informed them that he had to order a meal and THEN she was told that there wasn't going to be a diver that day for her son and husbands birthday but there was and the personalized menues that she was to get for them only one showed up after confirming a couple of days before that things were fine and they had everything. And then she said that her server just kept disappearing and then when she came back wasn't very nice and it took forever for their order to even be made muchless having to wait for it. And then she said the only that was to Disney standards was the desserts. I think that if the kids like fish that they will enjoy this one for the aquarium. .

Day 5: Le Cellier - LOVE it!! It is a MUST And I am fighting to try to find a ressie so I'm glad that you were able to get one!!
Day 6: Ohana Character Breakfast- LOVED IT!! It is becoming am must for me. It is just wonderful. The food was just great and the character interaction was so much fun!! Stitch was a hoot!!

Day 7: DISNEY DAY OF REST :scared1: - This would be a welcome thought to many!! Especially my family. They think I over plan. :confused3

Day 8: Yachtsman Steakhouse (NEW)- Have heard great things about this one.. But have yet to try it personally.

Day 9: Counter Service- Which one?

Day 10: Yak and Yeti (NEW)- Have heard mixed reviews but looked at that one line that was posted and it looks yummy

Day 11: Chefs de France - LOVE IT. HAve had lunch and dinner and loved both. Had great food at each.

So please give me your opinions and likes and dislikes. Kone Cafe, Tusker House, Ohana dinner and any of the shows are possible options. Tusker house breakfast is a must for me. LOVE IT.. The food is great as are the characters. I have heard lots of good things on the lunch and dinner front there too... Kona is great for breakfast and I love their dinner menut but have yet to try it .. Ohana I heard mixed reviews so I have stayed away from there but I think I would give it a try atleast one.

Thanks much!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Thanks for all of your input!! :lovestruc We really LOVE Teppan Edo it's very Japanese Steakhouse! It's fun!

You know we really like Coral Reef and haven't had a bad experience there. Our servers have always been great and the food has been good as well and you can't beat the ambiance!! I would give it a try.

I don't know which counter service we are going to do that day. Any ideas?? I was thinking Columbia Harbor or WPC as I've never tried those.

I have been thinking about Tusker House too because AK is my DD 8's fave park and thought she would enjoy this. I'm not sure if I can fit it in this trip though.............. Personally, I really want to try Kone Cafe as I have heard so many great things.

Thanks again!!:wizard:
