My ADRs for Christmas :)

This will be my son's first 'real' trip to disney. He will be 7, and we took him when he was 2, but he doesn't remember anything. Its me, my husband, my son and my parents going for 10 days over christmas. Its also my parents 20th wedding anniversary!
Here are the reservations I got for us, and I hope they are good, i have never had table service dining plan before, so im excited to be able to go to all these restaurants

Monday Dec 19th
Sci Fi Dine In Theater 435pm

Tuesday Dec 20th (my parents anniversary day)
Biergarten 430pm for me, hubby and son
San Angel Inn 5pm for my parents

Wednesday Dec 21
Rose and Crown 12pm
Akershus 5pm

Thurs Dec 22nd
Cinderellas Royal Table 410pm (my stepmom wants to go here badly)

Fri Dec 23rd
Boma 530pm (my husbands favorite restaurant)

Sat Dec 24
Garden Grill 540pm (candelight processional)

Sun Dec 25 (xmas!)
Whispering Canyon Cafe 410pm

Monday Dec 26
Chef Mickeys 430pm


My son goes into meltdown if he doesnt eat around 5pm, which is why our reservations are all so early.


We are going the 17th-27th, but on the 18th we will probably be eating at ESPN while watching the saints game on the TVs there Disney revolves around the saints schedule too i guess heh

Everything looks really really good.. A couple of comments.. i would make ressies for ESPN zone.. Every time I have gone there has been a line out the door.. Prime time football season you may have an issue getting in.. Are you eating at Whispering Canyon on Christmas to avoid the crowded parks? if not, then I would maybe suggest another restaurant in the park so you can absorb all that Christmas Cheer.. just what i would do.. LOL

Hmm ok, will look into booking something at ESPN, was a bit confused on if it was a restaurant or just a bar we could watch the game at.

With the Whispering canyon, my dad's favorite thing about holidays is the special turkey dinner. So I had to find a place that had a traditional turkey menu, which apparent WCC does And I would love to see WL decorated for xmas

My son is also an early riser, so we will be in the parks from WAY early in the morning, so taking a break out of the park around 4pm is a good idea for us then returning to our hotel to have our presents/family christmas together.

I might drop Akershus since you are going to Cinderella's Royal Table the next evening. The vibe at both restaurants is similar and they are expensive! Plus, it might be princess overkill for your son. Unless you think he will appreciate as much princess flirtation as he can get, of course.

Maybe sub Akershus for dinner at one of the Epcot resorts to check out the decorations? I have heard great things about Bluezoo and Il Mulino at the Swan/Dolphin if you want to try something more upscale. Same goes for Flying Fish at the BWI.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I had read that, on a crazy day like Christmas, you may not be able to gain re-entry into the park after you leave since the park is at capacity. I agree that, if you can re-enter, it would be lovely to take a dinner break and visit the WL. If, however, there is a risk of your not being able to get back into the MK, I would try to get a ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern. It definitely has the most traditional holiday fare of any restaurant in WDW, but may be tough to get a ressie for at this point.

Yeah, i think the princess dinners are me and my stepmoms fault. My poor son with his mom and grandma wanting to go to them. She really wanted to go to cinderellas table, even if she had to go by herself she said and i really wanted to go to norway, since i lived in norway for 3 years and would like to see some of the cuisine again.

I am not sure about re-entry to the parks. So I planned Crystal Palace for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner on Christmas day. I have no intentions of leaving the park.

I do know that Disney resort guests will be allowed entry an hour early. I hear they are usually at capacity before noon on Xmas. Not sure about days surrounding it though.

We will be trying to secure a table at ESPN on the 18th to watch our beloved Saints play too! We will be the three decked out in black and gold! Maybe we will see you there! It is my stepdaughter's (age 9) first time going. Who Dat!

We ate at WCC a few Christmases ago and it was by far the WORST meal I've ever had at Disney (and I've been over 40 times at least).

They have a special holiday offering instead of their usual menu and it was TERRRIBLE. I can't stress enough how bad it was.

Aside from that, your plans look great!

Looks like you guys are like us--love the Epcot restaurants! I think you'll really enjoy Garden Grill--the last time we ate there, we had the best character interaction we've ever had!
