My ADR window was today...and no August calendar still!!

Well today my window opened up for ADR's and there were still no park hours!! The lack of hours wasn't the biggest deal except for one or two of our days, but I did really want to see some of the parade/show schedules.

I did not want to take the chance of no ADR's being available for us though, so I made the call. I called at 8:15 a.m. and I only had to hold for about five minutes. I got all the ADR's I wanted on the days I wanted and most exactly at the times I wanted or within thirty minutes...so no complaining!!

All reservations were for five people, I got:

8/2 -Coral Reef-5:55 - dinner
8/3 -CRT - 12:15- lunch
8/4 -Ohana's - 5:00 - dinner
8/5 -50's-Primetime - 12:30 - lunch
8/6 -Chef Mickey's - 6:30 - dinner
8/7-Crystal Palace - 10:00 - breakfast

I'm glad you got the ADR's that you wanted!!

I too had to make my ADR's this past Friday (May 1) with no August hours. I just changed my planning. I was going to plan around the hours of the parks and now I'm planning around my dining schedule.

I just checked this morning and still no August hours.

We are eating at 4 of your picks. In fact, we are having lunch at 50's PTC on the same day, only ours at 11:10. We are also doing Ohana's, Chef Mickey's, and CP. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway - waited 40 min on hold Sun 5/3 calling at 7:20am. Did get everything I wanted though - including Le Cellier! I'm hoping that means some lower crowds before free dining starts!

I'm glad you got what you wanted at least. We do not have park hoppers, so I'm basically "stuck" with whatever park I make an ADR in that day. Very frustrating!

I have been secretly hoping that too! In all the posts of other people's August trips planned, I have only seen 2 or 3 people say they were traveling the first week! Now I know that is only Dis'ers, but maybe most people will wait for the dining. We did the 4/3 offer because school starts Aug. 10th. I did take them out of school for free dining two years ago...but that would mean 3 missed days and we would have to fly down ($$$) and we wouldn't get to stay as long. I am excited about our 7 nights!

Just chiming in. I am in the same August ADR predicament (our dates are Aug 1-8). Trying to make ADRs for 11 people is hard enough. When you really have no idea where you might be on any given day, well it just gets silly.

We arrive on August 10 - hoping there are lots of kids starting school that day!!! We're there at the tail end of 4/3 and leave on the day that free dining starts so I have my fingers crossed we'll be lucky on our ADRs. The UG lists most park days as 8s though...

Here is what we are hoping to get:
Chef Mickey (breakfast)
'Ohana (dinner)
LTT (dinner)
WCC (dinner)
Sci-Fi (lunch)

Which do you think will be the hardest to get?? We're a family of 4.
