I'm not sure of the answer but it really does not matter. Aulani is not like WDW- you shouldn't have any trouble getting reservations that far in advance for whatever you want if you try within the first day or so (really probably even much longer than that. I had not trouble getting what I wanted a couple WEEKS before our arrival).
