My AAA Rate

I'm so excited!!! I called CRO and I was quote a price of 174 a night at the WL in August. 7 nights with tax came to $1358 It was 1600 on the Disney website that's a saving of $242! Now I can obess about a better deal coming along!!!

We'll be at WL 8/25 thru 9/3!! Our AAA rate w/tax is $222 per night but we have 3 adults/1 jr. Your rate is w/tax? Makes mine sound a little high. Can't wait!!!

i was quoted $1443.61 for 2 adults and i 4 y.o. to stay at pop century for 5 nights, 2/28 - 3/4. this didn't include the meal plan, it would be another $435.00 on top of that to include the dining plan. does this sound right or is it high?

yes, this total includes the hopper pass and it's a standard room.

I have 2 nights, room only, for 8/25 - 8/27, for $444.36 tax inc. for 3 adults and 1 jr. That's $222.18 per night, room only.

P.S. Just called CRO (never hurts does it?) and got the same quote, $444 for 2 nights room only w/AAA discount.

PPS: $1358 for 7 nights is $194 per night not $174, correct? Then my rate difference is probably the extra adult which is $25 per night at the Deluxes I think.

in your PM to me, you said 3 days, is it 3 or 5? $1400 for 5 days w/passes & dining isn't that bad. also, you appear to be going peak season so the price is going to be higher.

winemedineme that quote seems about right for an aaa quote for 5 nights/5 day hoppers and including insurance. You can go to disneyworld.com and plug in things and check it out. Remember that the quote you will see there does not include tax or insurance, and aaa will give you 15% off your room portion during that time.

edited to add i plugged in numbers myself and your quote seems a bit high for aaa...but i dont know how much insurance is...

115 *5 hotel = 575 *.85 (aaa discount 15%)= 488.75 * 1.11 (room tax is something like 11%) = 542.51

5 day ticket adult 2 * 211.94 = 423.88
5 day ticket child 172.53
Hopper add on 42.50 * 3 = 127.50

Just to clear this up my standard room in August at the WL is $174 a night before tax, $194 after tax ,making my total $1358 for 7 night including tax (room Only) using AAA.
