My 7 month window opens on Monday. I am hoping to get a studio at BWV or BCV from Nov 4 to Nov 9.

Does anyone have any insight on how difficult this may be? I didn't think to do day-by-day reservations so I am afraid I may be in trouble.

Those dates fall within the F&W festival so traditionally BWV, and especially BCV are both hard to get at the 7 month window.

You could have called today, even when you posted. Just for future reference.

You probably have the best chance for a BWV Preferred - Pool & Garden view. Still, you never know until you actually make the call. I'm hoping you already made back up reservations at your home resort. Good luck on Monday, and let us know how it turns out for you! :)

I was able to get BCV at the 7 month window but only in a one-bedroom for October 20th-24th; I had to waitlist the 25th but it came through in about two days. The studios were already booked.

I thought Member Services was closed on Saturdays!

We are willing to settle for anything onsite (my home is VB) but of course are hoping to be close to Epcot for F&W.

Wish me luck!

good luck
next wk is my 7 month window for 11/11-16 - already have 11/9-11 at BCV on mbr cash discount - hoping to switch VWL to BCV (or BWV) for 11/11-16
I know the F&W ends on the 11th so Im hoping that helps me out. Its my 50th birthday trip and I want to be near my "men in skirts"!

Our original reservation was for Oct 20 - Oct 26, and I called at the 7 month time and got my one bedroom at the Boardwalk. There were only preferred rooms, even though we would have taken a boardwalk view. Then 2 days later I called to add on a night and it was no problem. My DD really wanted to do the MNSSHP and we are really looking forward to the F&W. We usually go right after Thanksgiving, so this time of the year will be really interesting. So maybe your chances will be really good.

Here is some pixie dust for you!!!pixiedust: Good Luck!!!!

I can already tell you there is no studio available for the 9th. I called today.

I can tell you now that you won't get anything in a studio for those dates (unless someone cancels when you ring), we've been trying every day and they have nothing. For some reason the 8th is fully booked at most of the hotels - a conference maybe??).

Very disappointing. :-(

I think 11/8 is during Jersey week, when a good bunch of NJ people head to WDW. I think most school districts get 2 days off that week for teacher's union annual meeting(anyone from NJ can correct me on this). There's a thread on the transporation board about how high Jersey week airfare is.

When I first heard the term Jersey Week, I thought it was some marketing WDW did to get sports fans down to Orlando. :rotfl2:

I plan on calling Monday to cancel a 1 bedroom from 10/10 arrival to 10/14 departure. No it's not for rent or trade I need to bank the points for a March 2008 trip. Just thought I'd give you some hope.

Good Luck.

MS started Saturday hours a few months ago...their Saturday hours are 1:00 - 5:00 Eastern Time.

Here's wishing you luck and lots of Moose Dust that your reservation comes through for you! :)

We ARE a good bunch, really!

I'm going to try waitlisting for a 2BR for that week. I've already called several times to check availability...so far, nothin' doin'.

I just remember seeing first seeing Jersey week and thinking what is it? So what is the real reason behind the migration of the good people of NJ to WDW? ;)

Good luck in getting that waitlist.

The only studios available are at OKW and SSR. I selected SSR since we have not stayed there before. I thought about waitlisting, but I like closure.

My son stayed at SSR in January and said he liked it better than BWV and VWL, so that's a good sign.

Glad you got something :)

Well this is the 7 month window for my trip too... I really want BCV for the dates of November 6-13th but would be willing to stay at BWV as well.. So far this is what I have... Since I had to waitlist for one day so far at BCV I decided I better try and get reservations at BWV too just incase the wait list does not come through.

November 6-
BCV 2 bedroom BOOKED!
BWV 1 bedroom WAIT LIST--- the date was available until they tried to book it for me and then it just disappeared and was not available anymore..... just my luck!

November 7-
BCV 2 bedroom BOOKED!
BWV 1 bedroom BOOKED!

November 8th-
BCV 2 bedroom WAIT LIST
BWV 1 bedroom BOOKED!

The calling continues tomorrow, wish me luck!!

Anyone have any luck with a wait list for a 2 bedroom at BCV in November?

This morning I went on waitlist for a 2BR for 11/3-11/10 (Jersey Week). I'm at SSR, but we've been there/done that. I'm waitlisting for BCV, BWV, and WVL; whichever comes up first.

Good luck to you,

Kathy
