My 4th annual WDW trip..AKA How I turned lemons into lemonade

Let me first start off by thanking Deb who rented her vacation house the Isla Bonita out to our family. Your home was GREAT and was at times early on in the trip the ONLY good thing about the whole vacation. lol


Day One. The Departed.



All good stories start out with a sense of place, mood and characters... The characters are as follows:

My Dh- aka Shrek

my dh 4- the fearless child who gleefully rode Splash Mountain 3 times in a row

my dm- the other WDW fanatic

my dmil- along for the ride

my dbil- see above





My mood at the time was full of joy and optimistic. We (my dh and I ) just got through watching POTC3, and we were both pumped to go on our long driving journey southward bound. I decked out the car with some wittings, so perhaps someone saw this car in WDW?

Sorry so short..I shall add more to this rollercoaster of a trip asap.

Well 'round about time Sunday rolled around we were in South Carolina at a Quality Inn..

Ugghh...and I had an awful experience with that. lol The hotel was nice and all, the rooms were nice and whatnot. However I was charged twice for one hotel room! They ran my card through twice for some reason, and I had to do several phone calls and talks with the lobby personal to get the situation taken care of...Way to start a WDW vacation.

Anyways, after that debockle, we were on the road again. Soon, we passed the Georgia welcome center which is always a happy sight for me. After that was the Florida border, and on to pick up my mom in Lake City..which was an eerie sight on the road with the 'smoke warning' signs.

After, several more hours in the car we finaly made it to our destination. The Isla Bonita house in the Emerald Island resort.

I just want to say thank you for the kind words.

Our home is wondereful we think but I find it scary that is was the only good thing about your whole vacation?

You have to give details of the lemons to lemonade.

I am also waiting to read how you made lemons into lemonade ( not alot of people have that gift ) .

The vacation house looks beautiful by the way.
