This trip is going to be INSANE
I hope this is the right place I didn't see anything that says Future Trip reports, lol
Yup you saw that right May 2026. It will be our 25th wedding anniversary. It will be me, my husband and our 20 year old son (he is autistic but moderate to higher functioning)
Yes I know the rates aren't out for 2026 yet and I am doing the best I can and asking a lot of questions so I can get a better picture as to my budget. We are literally working two jobs and saving like crazy for this trip.
Flying from LAX to MCO (hopefully first class or something close)
Arrive at Disney World contemporary resort (main tower not sure which view yet and I am still confused about them), then the next day starts our 5 days in the park. One park each day and the 5th day kind of take it easy, go in the pool and see if there is anything we missed etc. Getting the dining plan as well as memory maker
We then have a "switch" day where we go from DIsney World to Universal Studios Orlando. We are planning on staying at the Adventurra Hotel. The day after that we have a 4 day park ticket, one day at universal studios, one at Islands of Adventure, one at Epic, and one at Volcano Bay. (we are thinking of extending a day to make sure we didn't miss anything, especially since Epic will only be a year old at that time.) No dining plan here but we do have the photo pass thing and we are trying to look at cabanas for Volcano Bay.
Then the next day we travel to Por Canaveral and go on a 5 day, 4 night cruise to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay on the Disney Wish!
Then we fly home and cry the whole time.
Am I insane? Probably. But this is a special anniversary we've been through a lot, (cancer, special needs child, job changes), and we are working hard for it.
I am open to advice and I know I have a lot of questions in other forums.
