My 2 Weeks in Disney - Would you change anything ?

Everyone is making this tiffins sound really good to eat.

Is it costly

I have not dined at TIffins, but I have it booked. I like Tusker House but for two adults.....choose Tiffins. Add some extra time and have a cocktail in the lounge.

See I wasn't to sure about coral reef. What does everyone else think and where else is good to eat in Epcot

I picked the desert party that night cos I'll Probley only be eating fish so I'd still be hungry for desert lol

Skip Coral Reef. I like it when I have children. The view of teh aquarium is nice but the food and service is hot or miss. It is also loud and kind of chaotic, IMO.

Would u say chef de France is better than coral reef or what's best for epcot

I don't know about CHefs, but if you want a little bit of theme that is pure Disney, consider SAn ANgel Inn. It is stunning in there! I liked the food, but honestly I would go just because of the ambiance. It is tight quarters, btu really pretty.

I know that Dining in the Castle is a treat, but in your case, I would think about skipping it. YOu are on an engagement trip and as much as dining with the Princesses is fun.....I would book Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian. It is comfortable, the food is good, and the service excellent. You can time the meal so you can go out ontot he veranda to enjoy WIshes and then return for dessert and coffee.

I have only seen one engagement in the MK, and it was in a little alcove on right hand of the castle as you face Fantasy Land.

If I was planning an engagement...oh this is fun!!! I think I would consider Epcot. The gardens in teh WS are stunning, so many beautiful areas to choose from. WHy don't you head to the weddings forum. I bet those folks have all kinds of suggestions for a romantic spot.

Is the desert party worth doing in any of the parks ?

If you like Star Wars, the SW dessert party in DHS has been very popular...

Just my opinion, but you've already got a lot of dinners, etc. planned. To me the dessert parties are an unnecessary expense, but some seem to like them. Also, I know the Star Wars fireworks at DHS are going to be replaced by a Mickey Mouse themed show for the Christmas season. I'm not sure if the SW fireworks are coming back afterwards (I imagine they would be), but there will likely be a gap between the holiday show and starting up SW again, so stay tuned on that.

True. At this point I prefer the food in La Hacienda on the lagoon, but that's just my opinion. If you go with San Angel Inn, I'd probably drop La Hacienda... (or you could pick up a lunch at San Angel Inn also; La Hacienda is dinner only)

Actually, on Dec 31st, the SW Fireworks show returns for the midnight celebration and will continue on.

If Gary changes up dinner plans for his Studios' day, then the dessert party would be a plus for the reserved seating area. Without the centrally located view, a lot of the projections can't be seen.

Unfortunately, it's a reserved seating area until the fireworks show begins. Everyone is asked to stand.

It's unlimited beverages until the dessert party ends and the party-goers are led to the outside viewing area.

Cool what drinks do they have

I agree with the others about Cinderella's Royal Table, although we have not gone for dinner, breakfast only. For that amount of money I would also leave MK and go to one of the Monorail Resorts for dinner. My teenage sons think that the California Grill is a must each trip and you can watch the fireworks from the observation deck.

I do not think that the cost of your trip is that outrageous, unfortunately a Disney trip is just super expensive!
