next week...i just need to find a day for my friend to go with me to get it! she tells the best stories and she takes FOREVER.

They do make makeup that covers tattoos, so if you're concerned about an employer and what they think, just cover it up.

How do you know that an employer is judging you negatively b/c you don't have a visible tattoo and he does? Maybe his tattoo is on his ankle and, b/c he's a man and wears pants and socks, you don't see it.

I have a Dark Tower related tattoo on the nape of my neck. It's a perfect place for me, I can wear my hair down and no one sees it, or I can wear it up for everyone to see.
To me, it was not painful at all, just a deep scratchy feeling.
Make sure you do the follow up care though, and always put sun screen on it to keep the colors bright.

I love my tattoo on the inside of my ankle. It's tinkerbell sprinkling pixie dust on a flower. I'm 31, a mom, a wife, a business owner and I don't care what people think. I also have one on my lower right back. When I'm 80 almost every other 80 yr old will have tattoos too so who really cares.

Yes, it hurts! But it's also addicting!! I already have 3 more in mind that I want to do!

I have a butterfly just above my right ankle. The pain was not as bad as I thought it would be. I am thinking about getting another one on my back near my shoulder.

This isn't a great picture, and it's not a big tattoo, but it has a lot of meaning to me. This is the symbol on Roland's gun that means "white".
