One of the card shops had lots of halloween stuff in at the weekend, perhaps check there?

I agree, Asda has got loads of good Hallowe'en stuff. I haven't got any ideas, but I hope you have a great time :)

I looked in Asda tonight ready to get my secret exchange stuff and they have some great bits and pieces

Yes, us Americans do love Halloween. What other time do grownups get to dress up as some characters and not get stared at?
I used to do a them Halloween Party every year, and the invitation would go along with the them.
One year the theme was TV Characters. I made the tv dinner invitations out of aluminum foil and heavy stock printer paper.
One year the theme as Rock Stars. I made the invitation look like a mini promotional poster.
Other themes have been cartoon characters, monsters ball, vampire ball, and futuristic party.
Sounds like your're gonna have fun. Good luck.

My friend has a yearly halloween party for the kids and instead of pass the parcel she has pass the pumpkin! She fills it with cooked spaghetti cooked in a green food dye lets it cool down pops it in the pumpkin and adds loads of wrapped sweets in it so when the music stops the child has to pop their hand in the cold spaghetti to find a surprise.
she also has pin the hand on the skeleton.
Wilkinson's normally has good halloween stuff in stock in t think they're scary music cd's start from 99p.

I've done parties a few times now and the ones the kids enjoy are treasure hunts, bobbing for apples, mummy wrapping contests, spooky sorytelling in a circle around a dark candle lit room where they all contribute the next part of the story, face painting, fancy dress contest. the fun part for me is decorating my house and Asda do seem to be the best if you want to go all out without spending the earth. hope you have fun,

My brother and his fiancee are getting married at the end of October and they are having a Hallowe'en themed reception! They have got lots of stuff from TK Maxx and Asda :thumbsup2
