My 10yo DD is freaking out about Chefs de France...

My 10yo DD really wants to go to Chefs de France because she LOVES the Aristocats movie and all things Parisian! BUT she is an ADULT this year and won't be able to order the pasta from the kids menu with the DDP will she? She is a very picky eater...any ideas or information?

Chefs has a mac n cheese dish that she may like.

Well since she is considered an adult. I know they have pasta for adults. Is there something special she likes? I'm sure they can accomidate her in some fashion. I went there in nov. and had braised short ribs over pasta. It was really good. One of the best meals i had there.

My DD enjoyed her meal there enough to request that we go back again next time. I know she ordered an adult meal, but I don't remember which one. She did try escargot and will order it again next time, so I thoroughly acknowledge that she is an adventurous eater.

I would show your DD the menu and talk about how the menu sounds really fancy, but if you read the descriptions, many of the foods aren't really complicated. If she likes fish, chicken, or steak, she can probably find something to eat.

That said, if she is picky, you could always order her a child's meal and either pay for it out of pocket and save that credit for another meal or they would probably let you use her adult credit for a child's meal.

Last year we ate there and my dd ordered an adult meal since she was an adult on our dining plan. When it came, and I can't even remember what she ordered, she hated it. She was then able to order a kids pasta. They told us that she could have just ordered the kids pasta to begin with and they would have brought her an adult size portion of it.

My teens love the adult mac and cheese at Chefs.... my youngest loves the kids mac and cheese, I am pretty sure your daughter can get what she wants : )

The restaurants are really good about creating an adult version. We did it at Chef's and also at PTC. The adult version of chicken nuggets and fries was $9.99
We were on the DDP so it wasn't the best way to use credits, but DS was very happy.
